Blind Man Gets Permit to Carry a Gun 2007-05-17 13:34:00 Ok...let's review the recent news stories I've posted here regarding gun permits being handed out to U.S. citizens: We have a 10-month-old baby who was given a permit to own a gun We have a blind man who was given a permit to own a gun Anybody notice a disturbing, unusual and IRRATIONAL pattern going on here as far as these permits are concerned? Let's forget about the fact that I believe in less than lethal self-defense and focus instead on the fact that neither of these two individuals who have been given permits to own their guns, can actually USE their brand new weapons for their effective self-defense. To me, it is blatantly obvious that it is far more important to the people who are SIGNING these permits, that lethal firearms continue to be used for personal self-defense no matter WHO the recipient of these permits may be. Number of Children in US Getting Diabetes As Result of Obesity Rises 2007-05-16 09:07:00 Why are we consciously killing our beloved, precious children? I know the majority of us love them and wish them long lives. We are their first line of defense...their role models in life and it is up to us grown-ups to responsibly educate them about their health. We wouldn't give them a pack of cigarettes for their 11th birthday present and say, "Ok, now let me show you what to do with this cigarette, my dear (insert name of child here)" We wouldn't serve them a Pina Colada at their 11th birthday party and say, "Darling, I think you will like this even better than that boring glass of milk."But we show no compunction when we stand idly by while our children are growing more obese every day. And we cry when the doctor writes prescriptions for medicine that will help to control their Type II Diabetes.It is time to wake up, guys!!!!! This is a form of child abuse!!!! 10-Month-Old Baby Bubba Has a Gun and a License 2007-05-14 14:43:00 Before I get e-mails, this nauseating photo above is not of Bubba, but is one that I had downloaded from a Yahoo! image search here in the net. Now...am I dreaming or did I just hear on the news that a 10-month-old baby is the legal owner of a gun??!!!!!!! No, I am NOT dreaming, because I just Googled the story and incredibly it's TRUE, although I still can't believe it. I think Bubba's grandfather should be on the new mental health list that is now being contemplated for gun background checks. In MY honest opinion he is need of some help and it frightens and concerns me to think that he is one of this child's primary role models in life.
