If so, then yes, he certainly should be charged with child abuse and child neglect, unless he himself is mentally unstable, which in that case would be reason to investigate his parenting abilities. If he WAS mentally stable and had this gun in the house, how was his precious child able to get her hands on this gun? The list of reasons why this child shouldn't have had this gun under her pillow is so vast that I can't see how any sane person reading this story would not be in agreement with me.
