A New Link Exchange

I came across a new blog exchange site the other day called Link Blox Exchange. I have to say I was a little hesitant on signing up just because I didn’t want to remember another login, but I did. And I found it to be a very nifty little site. You can add your links and build little link blocks to put on your site. Either in text or 80×15 button format. I like the button format personally, but to each his own. Every link is manually checked (thank god) so there is no chance of showing splogs or porn on your site. The main thing I love about this link exchange program is that it’s reliable, fun and 100% free!

Hairspray

I didn’t think I’d like this movie. I’m not that into musicals (except Cats). And the fact that John Travolta (sp?) was prancing around as a woman was kind of…disturbing. It’s not that he was a “woman”, it was that he was a creepy looking one. They could have made him look less weird. But I did enjoy it. And I’d totally go see it again. My mom said we should go see the sing along version. That would be fun.

A Little Sick

I came down with another sinus infection. It’s not as bad this time (yet) and I’m taking meds early, but it still feels like I have a knife in my head. I hope this goes away soon. It’s getting on my nerves. So are a few other people. I did go out today but not before I slept more then half the day away. I was dragged to the store then to my in-laws where the dog hair made everything worse. Now I’m back in bed. Drugged up and falling asleep. I better feel better tomarrow or I shall cry!!

Change is Coming

I’ve decided to make a few modifications to the site. And the theme. Nothing drastic, and probably nothing you’re going to notice, but I just feel that these changes need to be made for my sanity. If something is broken, please let me know what it is and where it is so I can get to fixing it right away.

Little Paychecks

I know this is going to come up sometime in the future. And it may not be to far from now. The issue of an allowance. We all got one as a child. Up until our teen years. I don’t even remember how much I was given. But an article on CafeMom triggered my thoughts to this subject.
I honestly don’t know how much I would allow Mini Buff to have. Maybe $1.00 to start. Maybe even $2.00. Doing this might teach him some early “responsibility” with money and he’ll possibly learn how to save up for the things that he really wants (at the time). Amy came up with something that gave me an idea as well. The money she earns from her mommy blog is split between herself and her kids. I could do that. Maybe I should start a little savings account for Mini Buff. And split what I earn here between me and him. *high five to Amy*
But it’s something that I have plenty of time to think about. Right now, the only thing he does with money is try to eat it or tear it apart.

I saw Transformers today, and I have to say this movie totally rawked. Bumblebee had to be my favorite. Frenzy was pretty cool too. Even if he was a Decepticon. I even learned the bus scheduale while I was at it.

Weekly Play Time

Well, we’ll be doing The Little Gym weekly now. Mini Buff had his first day yesterday and it looks like he loves it. He was all over the place. I just hope we’re up in time to get there. Gonna have to start setting alarms. Big Buff will be leaving work early to drop us off and pick us up so…it all works out. It’s only for four weeks, then we’ll see about signing Mini up for the fall semester. Which is twenty weeks.
He didn’t really pay attention to me. He was poking and prodding all the other moms. Made me feel kind of unwanted, but oh well. He enjoyed himself. We did the Parachute, balance beams, gymnastics bars (which he just swung on). Big Buff took videos on his new phone so I can show my mom when she gets back from her trip. And it was ok that he was all over the place. The instructor said if they just want to explore it’s fine. Since they’re so little, if they the other kids doing it, he’ll possibly want to do it too.
