Remembering Grandma 2007-11-20 23:56:00 It is never easy having to see a loved one's health slowly deteriorate right before your eyes. My maternal grandmother was in the pink of health before she slipped and broke her hip three years ago. Since that unfortunate event, she has been confined to her bed and wheelchair for two years, which sometimes left her no choice but to also wear protective underwear. Her sudden change in lifestyle totally broke her spirit.
