Cool weather
2007-12-02 20:33:00
I am loving the weather! I think God heard my prayers and so far, it's been really cool the past few days. Our temperatures average at around the mid-20's which is actually the best for me.We've been having stormy weathers, which explains the cool atmosphere. Now, I do feel like how it should be in December. It is kinda weird though because December is actually the start of the summer season here and the sun's been hiding behind those thick clouds lately. But, I am not complaining ok. :) ...
Bed of roses (not!)
2007-11-30 18:21:00
We have two beds in this house. One for us, and the other for the guest room. The mattress in the guest room though is a bit old now and looks kind of out of shape. I am thinking of replacing it soon, maybe in the coming year. That is, of course if I find a good deal. Well, let's hope there is one out there so we don't have to spend so much on it. ...
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
2007-11-30 18:17:00
Yes, our tree is finally up. I am basically done with the decors so that's that. I might add a few more baubles here and there if something nice catches my eye. Otherwise, that's about it. :)And here's the little girl posing in front of the tree. It looks like she's already got the Christmas spirit, don't you think? :D ...
Have a look-see
2007-11-29 21:18:00
Summer is here and for many people, it is camping season as well. If you are going sight-seeing anytime soon, then make sure to get a pair of binoculars so you won't miss out on anything important and worth seeing in bush.I haven't done my bit of camping ever since I could remember. Neither is it J's favorite activity. We're not the outdoors kind of people you see because we still want the comforts that a home could give, like a decent bathroom and toilet. It's just not our cup of tea. Don't get me wrong though. I like nature trekking, just not camping overnight. ...

2007-11-29 20:10:00
Fellow blogger Era handed me the following awards (Thanks, Era!) : Aww.... I am especially touched by the sexy blogger award because of the new body that I have since giving birth to Erin. Haha! :DI am passing this on to all the beautiful and sexy blogger mommies out there who frequent this blog. You know who you are. You all deserve it! :) ...
Gift shopping
2007-11-29 18:01:00
I am trying to draw up my wishlist for this year's family gift exchange. I still have not completed it yet because I do not have the slightest idea what to get at $25, except for a book perhaps, which I had already jotted down on my list.I still don't know who my partner is because we have yet to draw lots soon. I hope it's going to be one of the females who love cooking as it will be very easy to get them stuff for the kitchen like chef's aprons. Cozy Homewares would be a nice shop to browse around but it's too bad that they deliver for free only to their US customers. ...

The sports spectator I am
2007-11-28 17:32:00
When I was a child, I used to watch major league baseball with my dad on TV. He has always been a sports spectator (though never a player) and that has somehow been instilled in me up to this day.Unlike J, I notice that I also share that love for watching sports with my dad even if I have my own family now. And if I did get the chance to get him a couple of Boston Red Sox Spring Training tickets, I am sure he will be over the moon when he finds out. That is if I do get the chance. Gosh, that would really make some great Christmas present for someone like him who's really into sports like baseball. ...
Change
2007-11-28 16:41:00
You'll have to excuse my 'negligence' of this blog for some time. I haven't been getting opportunities in the last couple of days and that has somehow decreased my interest in writing. I can't believe all this paid posting has the capacity to give me the drive to write! It used to be just all about feeling creative. But now, things have changed. And that's not exactly a good thing in my book. :( ...
On Medical Supplies
2007-11-24 01:19:00
With a little kid in the house, you never know when medical emergencies are going to happen. I have been longing to buy some home medical supplies to make our own first aid kit but have not really sat down to do it. I am definitely putting that on my to-do list.I got reminded of this when I stumbled across AllegroMedical.com. They are online retailers of medical equipment and supplies and they offer products in 50 categories and hundreds of sub-categories. I may just check them out because I might find all the stuff that I need for that kit. ...

Alomst there...
2007-11-24 00:57:00
... but not quite. Yes, the tree is up, all six feet of it. And I've even managed to put on the fairy lights as well while the little girl watched on.I must admit it was not all that easy. Probably it's because we chose a tall tree to start with. Anyway, all that's left to be done is to hang baubles on its branches. Oh, and let's not forget the pressies that go underneath it. :) ...

30 Days Left
2007-11-23 18:27:00
Geez, I can't believe there is only a month left until Christmas is here. I guess I've been too busy here at home to notice how fast time has flown. And we have no Christmas tree still to speak of! J promised me to help me put it up tonight. Well, we will see about that! It's make or break, I tell you! :P ...
Election Day
2007-11-23 18:22:00
Yes, today is the day for all Aussies. J went out to vote this morning. It is required of all citizens. It's between the Australian Labor Party and the National Coalition. Rudd versus Howard. So, who do you think who's going to win? I think I have a fairly rough idea which party is going to make it. But I'm not telling just yet. It's too early in the day for that. I don't want to nip it in the bud, so to speak. :P ...
