Change of Ways
2007-12-16 18:26:00
I have been reading the news and lately, it seems that more and more people are using drugs. It would definitely mean good business for drug rehab centers but it is absolutely not a good sign of the times.Well, just the same, if you are looking for a reputable center for drug rehabilitation, then you might want to consider Stone Hawk. From the pictures on their website, this center in Michigan really does offer a tranquil place for one who would want to reflect and change and his ways. The views are magnificent that it would seem that they are in for vacation rather than on a program. I think their New Life Detoxication program makes so much sense because they let their clients make the change based on their own morals and ethics. They are not imposing, but instead, they simply guide their clients to the right direction towards a lifestyle that fits their wants and needs without having to use drugs. ...

The Katie Look
2007-12-15 18:21:00
Have you seen Katie Holme's newest hairdo? Well, here she is on the cover of In Style magazine and I am loving her new look.Remember how I was contemplating on getting a makeover for myself in an earlier post? It looks like I have finally found the inspiration to do it. I just hope it would also suit me, much like it did Katie. That is, of course, if I can muster up the guts to go ahead with it. You'll soon find out. :) ...

Car Care
2007-12-14 19:31:00
Our old Camry is not looking as good as it was the first time J bought it. The paint on its roof has faded and we have noticed the same thing too in other similar models. I guess something must have went wrong in the painting process when that batch was being manufactured.Well, to make matters not worse, I am thinking of buying the poor thing a couple of car covers. In fact, I reckon that's a great idea especially since we only have a car port and not a real garage to speak of. That'll surely protect our car from the harsh elements. ...

Weekend Away
2007-12-14 19:25:00
It's confirmed! We were able to book ourselves our room at the Rydges Hotel on our second year church wedding anniversary on the 22nd. I think we are going to have a grand time because it's our first time away from home since Erin was born and we're staying in a room with a view to kill. Oh boy, we are all excited! I can't wait! :) ...

Bed Check
2007-12-14 19:20:00
Remember how I was ranting about our old bed in the guest room? Well, I checked on it today and discovered how much the mattress has become deformed in just a few months' time. I was not expecting it to deteriorate at that rate.If that is going to be the case, then we might consider shopping for a new memory foam mattress so we are sure that the replacement won't go all deformed when it's old and worn. I'll put that on our shopping list for next year. For now, we'll just thave to make do with it. ...

Disappointed
2007-12-14 19:16:00
I received an email from PPP the other day informing me that our other site has been rejected by them because it was a community blog. It's too bad though that this was the outcome. That website would have allowed us to grab more opportunities because of its pagerank, real rank, and alexa score. Plus, it's got it's own domain to speak of. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Time to move on. ...

For the extremist
2007-12-14 17:13:00
Are you still in the dark as to what to give your friends and relatives this Christmas? Finding the perfect gift for them can be such a daunting task, I know. So here is a little suggestion from me to you. Have you got any friends or relatives who are into extreme sports? I, personally, have a few ones who do and I have decided to give them the FreemanX Experience. I am pretty sure they will be ecstatic when they find out I got them something for their favorite sport. There is a lot to choose from -- from skydiving to jet boating to being a V8 supercar driver to name just a few. They will definitely have an experience they won't forget. ...

First Party
2007-12-14 16:46:00
We just had our very first Christmas party ever last night. It was a blast because food and drinks were overflowing and there were games and videoke to entertain us the whole night through. The little girl though wasn't in the very best of moods because she didn't sleep much during the day. The noise too must have gotten to her nerves. That is why she was a bit cranky at the party. Well, I hope she'll do better in future gatherings as I'm sure last night's won't be the last. ...

Good hotel deals
2007-12-14 16:30:00
Lots of people are going on vacation this month because of the Christmas season. I am pretty sure that all airports are filled to the brim, especially as Christmas Day approaches. If you are one of them, make sure to check out Hotel Reservations so you can get a good deal in your hotel bookings at this time of the year. You know how full the hotels are this month and how expensive a room can get. ...

Makeover wanted!
2007-12-12 21:29:00
I just watched Oprah’s Great American Haircut episode earlier today and my, oh, my… I was so envious of all those women who got those amazing makeovers from top American stylists.Looking at my reflection in the mirror after watching the show, I realise I am also one of those women who is in dire need of a makeover. Although I get my regular trim at the salon every quarter, I’ve always settled for the same style since I was in high school. I have never had the guts to try something different because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the new look.I have been contemplating on getting a change of ‘do for quite some time now and I may just make it a reality one of these days. To cut or not to cut. That is the question! ...

Let's talk about pets!
2007-12-11 21:51:00
Our family likes animals. I am not saying we are not animal lovers but neither do we hate them. Don't get me wrong okay. We actually do sympathize with these creatures. We even rescue them from the busy streets of the city. At one time, we had dozens of cats to care for. We also have a pet cemetery in our backyard. We do have pets back home in the Philippines. We feed them and sometimes give them a bath. But that's about it. No cat furniture for the kitties either because they have lots of playthings in the garden. They have their areas outside the house because most of the people in our family has some form of allergy, be it asthma or rhinitis. I guess for us, animals will always be animals. That's why we draw the line. ...

More Goodies
2007-12-10 21:48:00
This came in early today. I told you there were more! And there’s even more coming probably in the next two weeks. But they are not all ours, mind you. Quite a number of them are to be given to our godchildren, relatives and friends as gifts for this Christmas. All this online shopping can be soooo addicting, I tell you. Someone pry me away from the computer please! LOL. ...

On Loans
2007-12-10 18:41:00
With the high inflation rates these days, it can be so hard at times to buy the things that you need and want. We can hardly get to stash away some money as savings for a rainy day. Sometimes, we are left with no choice but to apply for loans such as a Personal Loan or a Car Loan. For me, loans are a last resort. But I am glad that these things exist, especially in times of financial difficulty and more importantly, when unexpected expenses arise. It is good to know that you have something to fall back on when you are in a crisis. ...

Backing It Up
2007-12-08 14:54:00
Speaking of Christmas, there so many parties that we are going to attend this year. Not only do we need to shop for gifts but I also need to whip up some dishes because these parties are always potluck. Not only that, I need to make sure as well that all our cameras are working so we can preserve all those wonderful memories on film and print. It is after all, our first Christmas together here in Australia as a family. I better bring along some extra lithium battery with us, just in case our old ones conk out in the middle of a photo moment. ...
