All that opportunity grabbing sure did keep me very busy I hardly noticed how fast the days went. Anyway, since the Christmas season is fast approaching, J and I decided to buy our first ever Christmas tree at Big W last weekend. It's a six-foot synthetic pine tree and I am so excited to decorate it in the coming weeks. We're still undecided though as to what color scheme we'll follow. Getting Insured 2007-10-30 00:00:00 Our good friend E, who also happens to be one of Erin's godmother at baptism, runs the local Asian grocery store with her husband in Fyshwick. It was originally owned by another Filipino, but was mismanaged and on the brink of bankruptcy so the former owner had no choice but to sell it. Fortunately, E and her husband managed to turn it around and now it is thriving well.We knew their business was doing good because they were able to buy a brand-new van, which they use in transporting their store's merchandise. As I am a full-time mommy with Erin, I cannot join yet the workforce in order for us to be able to get a loan so we can purchase a house of our own.
