Holiday at the seaside - day 1, 2 & 3 2007-06-25 16:09:28 (written at the seaside & uploaded later) The day I left for my holiday at the seaside in Rimini, last Saturday, I was wondering if I was going to ever see the sun while there. I put my luggage in the car and the first few drops of rain started dirtying the windows, the sky was grey. This had been the weather for a few days previously to my departure. Hadn’t I already booked for this holiday I wouldn’t probably have gone since I had never experienced such mild summer in the last years in my town. There was actually no desire for rushing towards some cooler place this year, but the booking had been done and a fee paid in advance, so there I was on the Italian highway heading towards the Romagna coast. The trip was longer than usual since around Bologna there was a long queue of cars and an accident had taken place not far from there (seeing a car turned over with all its windows smashed is never a good sight).
