2007-10-29 22:16:00
Tired of Friendster? Same old boring people and worse some stalkers always viewing you're profile! I have joined the best up and coming Social network website! There's no pretension in Friendsation, people in this free community joined to meet new people, make friends and meet their match! It's a free dating site where people that end up clicking could continue communicating regardless of geographical distance through their free live chat feature for registered members. The chat rooms are lively and prospective daters would love the interactivity with people in this online neighborhood. For people in the States , there a neat bonus! Friendsation offers free phone chat for members anywhere in the continental U.S.We all know how us call center people have been crazy for the other social network site but in recent years it has slowly lost it's popularity because of lack in innovation. Friendsation chat features definitely gives it an edge over the other social networks!

Yehey! This Blog is Google Pagerank 4 at last!
2007-10-27 20:25:00
Months of hard work, diligence in blogging and a lot of time spent online! This is what it takes to finally get ranked by Google. I'm so happy to find out that my 2 blogs ( CallCenterVet and Olympic Blogger ) have been ranked PR4 by Google. This opens up a lot of opportunities for me.Why is Google Pagerank important? Well, if you're planning to make some major money online. This is what you need to set your goals on. Pagerank as defined by wikipedia is Google's way of judging a web site's importance on the internet. Google sets and changes it's algorithmic calculations every time it updates Pageranking but the general accepted factors that contribute to a website pagerank is the number of other websites the link back to a website ( in which google figures this is considered a vote of confidence that the site is important or at least relevant. Another factor is content. The number of pages indexed and the frequency of updates are just a few content-related considerations to get a r ...

Great site review for call center must haves
2007-10-27 20:10:00
I recently came upon this excellent website that makes reviews for products sold online. The homepage struck me because it tackles a product that can help a lot of us call center people quit smoking! Smoking has been predominantly a common sight in any call center these days. You can almost associate the call center work with smoking as a matter of fact. When you ask call center employees why they smoke, the major reason you would come across is because it relieves work-stress. Contrary to this, smoking only provides temporary relief and in fact causes more problems in the long run. Not to mention a popular belief that smoking dulls the mind. There have been a number of waysCurrently Trustsource.org provides quit-smoking product reviews on their homepage. People serious about kicking the habit can check out what they and other people have to say about these effective products. Trustsource not only provides product reviews. It also provides a quick link to purchase the product reviewed. ...

Easy Content Management for a Call Center Start Up
2007-10-27 08:51:00
With the proliferation a small to medium-sized and even large call centers in the Philippines these days, information management is one of the key priorities if a business owner wants to run a smooth sailing operations. For a customer-focused business like outsourcing, it is very important to keep the all important data organized and secured. The proprietor needs to invest on technology as well as manpower to make sure information is not lost, disorganized and out-of-date.The task looks easy for an untrained person but it takes a lot of skill and knowledge to handle all aspects of information management. For a call center business, one must not only take into consideration the user-side management of content but also information seen and used by it's customers online. In this age, no business will survive without a decent website. There are tons of information a customer will be exposed at a given time. Keeping this information well-maintained should always be a top priority not only ...

Easy cash advance for emergencies
2007-10-26 22:27:00
For our readers in the U.S., there are days when expenses can get out of hand especially when things like medical emergencies happen. I know that for a fact because, it happened to me a few times back when I was working in Chicago for 2 years.Getting a payday cash advance is a better alternative because you don't have to worry about paying for it like a credit card. The interest charges can kill you if you use your credit card. For those who don't have credit cards there's no better alternative.People looking to get Payday loans will be able to get their much needed cash in a breeze. They only need to follow the simple steps in getting approved and their loan will be sent to their bank accounts much like applying for a cash advance in person except you don't have to go anywhere else but on their website.People can get several cash advance options in cashadvance1500. There are at least 7 loan provider you can choose from to see which ones suit your need best. Cash advance are no has ...

Move Over Call Centers/BPO! Here's The New Sunshine Industry!
2007-10-23 21:13:00
I knew it all along! But it took somebody else to write about it first but I had the same idea. There's a new challenge to the call centers domination as a premier industry that provides excellent opportunities. The industry is much more lucrative because it offers an alternative and pays A LOT better than working for call centers. It's been around but most people hardly notice it. Sirit? The work is called Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. As per wikipedia, Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic for a website through natural or "organic" search results. While Search Engine Marketing is a form of Internet Marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in the search engine results pages. A lot of technical things that don't make sense to the unopened minds I'd have to admit but it's really simple! People who own websites and sell their products on the web are crazy about these! Why? Bec ...

The Ultimate Ecommerce Software
2007-10-23 16:49:00
I've looking around for a shopping cart software that I will use for my plans to set-up an internet business. I wanted to get the best value for my money but not sacrifice on features. After all, I would want to regret ever buying something on the net just like what my customers will not like either.Given that it's a pretty big investment on my part, I checked out an compared 3 different ecommerce software that would fit my needs. Right on top of Google search is LaGarde's Storefront software and next was NetSuite's Integrated System. Last at the bottom and nearly at the end of the fold of the page was Ashop's shopping cart software.Studying the features for about an hour, I noticed a lot of similarities but some key differences among the three products. They all have the same important features that an online store owner might be looking for to provide the best customer experience like easy payment options, shipment tracking and customization, and customer support. The competition ...

Call Center Agents Can Earn More By Blogging
2007-10-15 19:04:00
In my last "call center" job, there was a guy newbie who I got to talk with casually and began to get to know him. As he was telling me stories on how he got the job, I became curious as he came about knowing the job opening. He casually said he found a thread by a "call center blogger" who had a forum thread in Pinoyexchange. I immediately knew he was referring to me! Haha! But as I still wished to remain anonymous, I didn't admit it to him yet. But I felt so happy he found the job through me... It's just another day in the office for CallCenterVet!Tomorrow came and there was no escape this guy because we needed to work with each other. As we took our breaks together, he again brought the same topics on how he was thankful to the blogger who referred him because he couldn't be luckier to get another job with a higher paying salary. When I finally can't hold my tongue anymore, I admitted to him that I was the blogger who referred him here and began revealing stuff to prove to him t ...

Very Bad Call Center Experience
2007-10-11 20:53:00
I recently had to publish a comment by one of my beloved readers who had something to say about the DELL call centers. It struck me a bit because it reminded me of the same experience I had with one of the previous call centers I worked for. The comment goes like this:"You better remove Dell on your list CCV. They are the worse not the best! Kung trip mong mag-call ng 2-5hours isang customer sige go at nga pala yung breaks mo di mo na makukuha pag-nalampasan mo."My team and I were in the same exa ...

CallCenterVet Is Still alive!
2007-10-01 14:33:00
Hello there fellow call center people! Let me start by thanking all of you who continues to read my call center blog despite the fact that I'm not able to update this blog daily. As you may well know, call center life is a totally different lifestyle to others who choose to work in the daytime. I have been busy with my main job and also I have been pre-occupied with my second "baby" which is Olympic Blogger Blog. The reason I'm exerting more effort on my second baby is that I see a huge income potential for it by next year! I hope you do visit the Olympic Blogger blog sometime and figure out why it may earn me thousands of dollars by next year. http://olympicblogger.blogpot.com/In this light, I will ofcourse not forget my original baby. In fact, I am now looking for a guest blogger for this call center blog for the meantime. If this works, I will be making this blog a group blog wherein it will have several bloggers contributing for our cause. To promote the call center industry and ...

The Dark Future Of Call Centers In The Philippines
2007-09-20 02:58:00
If one may think of the call center being around for decades more, think again! The worst case scenario is already starting to happen. As I read one the alerts I set up on my email address for Google to bring me "call center news" anywhere, it troubled me to find out that there might be a movement to bring back outsourced jobs to the US job market. There's a lot of reasons why this movement might gain ground and support from the U.S.A. which is the main source of outsourced jobs in the world. For one, Americans are a patriotic bunch. When sector of their society is continually being repressed, it only takes one sharp tongued media personality, celebrity, politician or advocacy group to rally a huge majority of their citizenry to support bringing back jobs to the U.S. mainland.Good news for them, bad news for outsourcing for us which is just beginning to mature in the Philippines. The way I see this might be happening going to be out of our hands. Something we cannot fight. Why? Becaus ...

2007-09-13 03:04:00
Outsourced customer care business process outsourcing (BPO) firm Sitel has partnered with the University of Cordilleras (UC) in Baguio City for the country's first curriculum-integrated call center training. Call Center Politics - Do you use it? Or are you a victim?
2007-09-06 12:44:00
C'mon who hasn't heard of this bit... Politics is everywhere. I'm writing this post as a favor to one of my loyal readers who commented for me to write something about this issue. You know the & most probably said this word ->... Napulitika...In my professional opinion, it is a necessary "evil" in our working society. If one looks at it on an unbiased perspective, it is very necessvry in shaping the directions of any institution or even societies. In order to survive in a political world, you need to analyze & identify the major players, identify opportunities to take advantage, learn when to grab opportunities, survive & learn to avoid conflict if you are a minority & most importantly find out if it would be more advantageous to join the majority for your survival's sake. These are bitter pills to swallow for "high-principled" people. But to tell you the truth, it is the reality. Not only in Call Centers but every work place. If you don't go with the flow, you'll be drown ...
