Want a QUID?
2007-10-07 01:54:08
It'll cost you £6.25! That's correct, because space tourism is a "reality" the geeks over at the University of Leicester have come up with the QUID (Quasi Universal Intergalactic Denomination) - a currency for space. The rate of exchange for the funky retro looking currency is £6.25 / $12.50 / €8.68 to one QUID - not really a decent bargain unless you've won the jackpot in a intergalactic casino. The QUID has a gorgeous look to them as the colour stuff that you see inside each one is a our Sun then the little black dots are, yes you guessed it, the eight planets. On the business and farfetched and weird side of things, a company called Travelex has already submitted plans to open the first Bureau de Change on the moon, how mad! ...

Saving 10p
2007-10-03 05:55:59
Wow.. I'm now saving 10p on every bus journey... wow what a saving. Only 90p per bus ride. Pretty crappy to be honest, not really saving much, though I suppose in the long run I would save. They should impliment the Oyster scheme all around the country as when I was back in Atherstone it cost almost a fiver for a return bus journey to the next town which is about 8 miles away. ...
Wrong Turn 2
2007-10-01 10:42:17
I must first say I enjoyed Wrong Turn 1 a lot as it had a fantastic twist at the end of it, however Wrong Turn 2 didn't follow suit. To be honest it was more of a reality TV show crossed with The Hills Have Eyes (in a low budget style of way). I think I only jumped once or twice but that was all. I'd have to seriously give this film 2 out of 5 stars. ...

Tropical Depression Melissa
2007-09-29 12:36:33
Tropical Depression Melissa upgrades to a Tropical Storm as she whips her way around the Atlantic. At the moment it looks as if she may dissipate down to a depression again in the next few days, though judging on the path that she is going she may come to warmer waters and regain strength. We'll just have to wait and see. Karen and Lorenzo are now dieing out too. ...

I am soooooo famous! Well not really famous but I have had one of my websites mentioned on another site. See, I was basically using Yahoo! The Simpsons - Season 19 Episode 1
2007-09-24 20:28:21
Also back on the TV is The Simpsons in their 19th season. You will noticed when you watch this that the usual opening titles have changed to what looks like the aftermath of The Simpsons Movie, plus on the couch gag you see the Spiderpig - who was shown a lot in the movie trailers. The episode is set around Homer helping Mr Burns and getting a trip in a private plane. He loves it so much that he wants to be in one again, though trouble happens when he tries to apply for a job at the local copper piping factory and fails, but tells the family that he got the job. The episode wasn't as brilliant or funny as it could have had been, but hopefully the next episode will have more humour in it. ...
Family Guy - Season 6 Episode 1
2007-09-24 20:27:28
Family Guy is back for a brand new series and to kick it of, a 43 minute episode was aired last night in America. It featured the Griffin family in a wild story about Star Wars. Chucked in were some accurate film scenes and the good sarcastic humour, including the old perve making gay orientated comments to Chris and singing I'Ve Had The Time Of My Life with the storm-troopers. In my opinion I believe it was a great start to what should be another brilliant season for Family Guy. ...

Moooooooove Over Foot and Mouth
2007-09-24 02:05:55
I know that was a veal lame joke but instead of cows being hit with the good old Foot and Mouth, something else has appeared - called Blue Tongue. No threat to humans though as it is passed on from cow to cow via midges. So it looks like they'll be more killing of cows if more tests prove positive. ...
Blur
2007-09-24 00:39:17
Well I watched a film last night called Blur. Now it was classed as a horror movie, but to be honest it was more of a weird messed up film. Not messed up as in gorey and bloody, but because the storyline was retarded. Basically, not to ruin it, but the storyline starts all cool then the main character kills his mate then kills his wife but then wakes up, sees that he killed the wrong person and then the film ends. Ok, so the film took just 15 days to shoot but it could have had a much decent ending to it. Out of 5 stars.. I'd give this 2. ...
