A Cranberry Maple
2007-10-16 11:06:00
Nothing other than cranberry, well, maybe candy apple, could describe the maple on the cornerAblaze in saturated reddeep, almost burgundy, like a burgundy on naugahyde, not leather, this color stayed on the surfaceready to ooze into my rods and conesto leap from the leaves, if I wasn’t carefulto splash and lap into my consciousnessbreak me from the focuson the trip to the store, the to do list back at the officeSnapped my attention for a momentto the beauty of the day,a gift from the creatorbright blue and vivid redOctober 16, 2007 12:05pm ...
