Flashback or Hotflash? 2007-07-19 19:35:16 Tomorrow I’m driving to a university in Maryland to retrieve my daughter from her week of sleep away camp. The birds will sing, the sun will shine and it will be a wonderful Mother Daughter reunion…all except for one wicked case of the flashbacks. You see, although I did not attend this school, many of my friends did. So when I was underage, under the influence and home from New York, it was THE place to party. Funny how I had blocked it out forgotten all about it… Rewind back to last week: The Drop Off I was surprised at how the area around the university had changed. However, as soon as I drove through the entrance, it was just as I remembered all those 15 years ago…except this time I was sober and my 12 year old daughter was in the back seat. My Name, My Face 2007-07-16 19:18:21 “Just call my name and I’ll be there…” BlogHer is less than 2 weeks away and I have to tell you that the prospect of “revealing” myself is becoming a tad unnerving. It hit me recently that there is no way to attend a blogging convention and remain anonymous. You might be saying, “Ummmm, yeah…duh” but I really didn’t think about it.
