I was studying in New Zealand for 3 years and to be honest, it was a big ‘climate shock’ for me (is that phrase exist?). Toll during wedding? 2008-03-16 09:44:34 I was in Pontian this afternoon; attending a wedding of my sister’s friend. It was raining, but the ceremony run as planned. During the wedding, I noticed something that are quite interesting to share here. Karaoke It is usual to hear loud music at the wedding ceremony, but karaoke? Hurm.. The interesting fact is, the organizer (parents) rent the equipments, radio, speakers etc. along with the singers. That is a good marketing strategy! Toll This is a new experience for me. The bridegroom has to pay the toll (actually tolls!!) before sit next to his bride. I heard it costs about RM50 per toll (minimum) and there are at least 4 tolls in a normal wedding ceremony. Once.. 2008-03-14 20:17:58 Watching movies is not something that I do regularly as I always feel sleepy in front of television. Do I have some kind of sickness? Maybe but it is good as I don’t waste too much time watching movies. But, this movie titled Once, is a really brilliant movie that I have watch until today. It gives these weird feelings; something like sad and happy at the same time. I don’t normally like a movie very much, but for Once, I really love it. I think the best part of Once is the songs in it. I don’t know how to describe them, but they are among the best songs that I ever listen to. They make me want to listen to them over and over again.
