Spring Break is here! 2008-03-10 11:46:00 Thats right a full week off of classes I'm SO EXCITED! While some people are out traveling to Mexico, Florida, or some other nice, exotic, WARM location...I'm at home...at my mother's house...in Virginia :( But its all good cuz I'm one that cannot sit at home and do nothing for long sooooooooooo I made a list of some things that I plan on doing over the week :)1)Bake!My girl Nikki Jean inspired me to bake when I interviewed her this past December, and now that I have started I CAN'T STOP! It truly is a fun activity to bake cookies and cakes, and pies...so I plan on baking my PEACH PARADISE this week....It truly is a tasty treat :)2) Get a tetanus shot :(So yeah I'm due for my tetanus shot...not really to excited about it...but hey you gotta do what you gotta do right...3)Attend my cuzzo funeralR.I.P KENYA! 4)Exercise!The spring and summer months are coming up...I plan on hitting the gym this whole week...I'm trying to find a good diet that works for me...so if anyone has any GRE ...

A Black film CLASSIC: The Five Heartbeats 2008-03-09 20:27:00 Okay yall so I have 4 favorite films...1)Grease 2)The Jacksons:An American Dream 3)The Temptations and 4) THE FIVE HEARTBEATS!This movie has got to be in the history books SOMEWHERE I mean...its a CLASSIC! It has got to be the Color Purple of Black Music Films...its been called the male version of Dream Girls and ladies it stars a young and very handsome LEON!! You just can't get no better than that! Anyone that is black and aspires to do music or be in the music busines this film is a MUST SEE! For those that are clueless to what I'm talking about check out the wikipedia article on it HERE! Go out to your local Wally World (Wal-Mart for the slow folk lol) and purchase this film...I'm sure its 5 dollars in the big bins that they have in the middle of the isles...you just have to dig for it...Until next time...Kay ...
