Girls Night 2007-06-29 13:59:00 I just got home from Army Gal's house (see, girl, be proud of me for protecting your privacy online ;D ) I spent the night there last night. It was so fun. We watched Princess Diaries and started the second one, but didn't exactly finish that one, because we were in such deep and meaningful conversation. [insert sarcastic eyeroll here] We ended up talking until almost 4 AM. It was great fun.The fun thing about Army Gal, is that we've been best friends for almost 17 years. Thursday 13 #18 2007-06-27 23:00:00 Because my summer has consisted of me pretty much lounging around and watching my new obsession, why don't we initiate it into the blog with a Thursday 13-Thirteen Reasons I Heart NCIS1.Michael Weatherly (AKA Anthony DiNozzo) is gorgeous. I think I've covered this before.2.Did you ever notice that during the autopsy scenes, instead of making them wear clothes during the autopsy or just zooming in on the gory incision, there's always that one light coincidentally shining on the *ahem* special areas? I don't know why, but Dawn and I had to laugh at that.3.It has plenty of "Huh?" moments. Like in Season 3 (which I'm watching right now) the episode "Under Covers", where Ziva and DiNozzo have to pretend to be those assassins, and the episode opens with Ziva kissing DiNozzo, whom she kind of loves to torment, and the camera leaves you sitting there going "What the muffin?" throughout the credits and then shows you what's really going on.4.Probie reminds me of myself. I soooo less than three summer.... 2007-06-26 09:22:00 And TV Links. They are both wonderful.TV Links has episodes of pretty much any show you can think of. Even the old cartoons before Nickelodeon turned stupid. Shows like Ren and Stimpy. And Doug! I hadn't been able to find any of the old Doug episodes, but I found them. And they have a bunch of movies. It's fantabulous. Currently I'm working on Season 3 of NCIS. Shocker there?My plans for today pretty much consist of me lounging around.I'm so glad that my English teachers have gotten past the "What I did during vacation" papers. Mine would be pretty boring. This has been a long week(end)... 2007-06-25 16:33:00 I was grounded, which was why I didn't blog. I apologize. I hate this punishment. I definately need to learn to keep my mouth shut. Hahaha.My week was fairly uneventful, until the weekend. I went and stayed with Dawn and her tribe. This is always great fun. Except for that I got the flu from my siblings and it hit on Saturday. Oh joy.I was feeling a little better in the afternoon, so I went to Mansfield with Dawn, Elisha, Tonya, Sis.Kramer, Dorenda, and Danessa. It was great fun. We went to Burlington Coat Factory and Old Navy, and then had lunch at Chippy's. (AKA Chipotle) I was not feeling well enough to eat a burrito, so I wrapped up mine. We got home at about 10:30 that night. Dawn and I stayed up and watched NCIS (which I am addicted to now. DiNozzo=Dreamy) and made smoothies. Did I mention that I love NCIS? Some Exhausting Evening 2007-06-15 22:47:00 I spent my evening in the ER. Fun, huh?Dawn's foster daughter, Tonya, slipped while playing on the trampoline at Dawn's house and one of the bigger kids jumped on it. Needless to say, a 3-year-old's legs are not built for this kind of injury. Luckily, Tonya, or TT as Dawn calls her, was very brave after Dawn gave her some Motrin. And after I put Little Mermaid on my iPod for her to listen to. She loves the iPod.After we got her a pretty pink cast, we had to go to Wal-Mart, thus causing another great dilemma. We had Elisha, the baby, and Tonya, who had a cast on, making her very heavy. Dawn put Elisha in the baby seat on the cart and we found a wheelchair for Tonya.
