While the parents are away....
2007-06-05 20:51:00
I and my siblings were visiting my grandpa and then Dawn. We stayed at my grandpa's house on Sunday night, then left at about nine the next morning.Dawn just got a new trampoline and water slide. This was great fun. She also has 5 foster kids, aged from 1 to 8. We watched movies and played on the trampoline, and played on the water slide, and played on the trampoline, and did I mention that we played on the trampoline? I learned the essential skill of jumping up, landing on my butt, and then bouncing up on my feet. I was quite proud of myself. So was Jennifer, the oldest of the 5. We had contests to see who could bounce the most in a row. The kids also enjoyed a game called "popcorn", in which they sat down while I bounced on the trampoline, causing them to flop around senselessly. What was so appealing about this, I will never know. The past two days have been a great means of birth control as well. Last night we had 9 kids plus me and Dawn at the house. They were as follows-4-month ...

My New Love
2007-06-05 20:24:00
I have a new bag. It's great. It's from NYC which makes it that much better. From what I've heard, Apple Bottoms are the new hot emerging bag this year. The rapper, Nelly, designs these. Mine is denim and bronze. Positively wonderful. My parents have good taste. I will have to post a picture later. ...

Last Day....
2007-05-30 07:12:00
Today is my last real day as a sophomore in high school. I have 3 exams on Friday, but I have tomorrow off, and I'm turning in the rest of my books today. It's awesome. Gottke is making us take a quiz on Africa today, and Steen is giving us a test, and Smith is making us do a review Excel sheet for Comp Apps. I'm watching Princess Bride first period, nothing in gym (probably will go up to the library), and nothing in Geometry. It's funny, this time last year I was saying good-bye to my friends because I really thought I would never see them again because we were moving up North. This year really has been hectic. And now a hilarious movie. Some of the guys in my English class put together a parody of Lord of the Flies for the end-of-year project. In case you can't tell, Ralph is JD from Scrubs, Jack is Anakin Skywalker from...well, if you don't know what he's from, you're just sad, and Simon is McFly from Back to the Future (which I have never seen). So, enjoy. ...

Scream Team
2007-05-29 08:07:00
Cedar Point yesterday was pretty much one of the most fun days I've ever had. I hadn't been there since I was 6, and I had only ridden one roller coaster before yesterday, so it was definately an experience. My meanie of a cousin, Mistie, told me she was going to make me ride three roller coasters with her. The first of these was Iron Dragon. John, Mistie, Garret, and I didn't have a wait at all for the ride. We got right on, which was good, so I didn't have a chance to chicken out. We went up the first hill and I was freaking out. I mean just going insane. After that first drop, it was a blast. The ride has two hills and drags you through a huge cloud of mist. It only goes about 45 MPH, so it's more of a starter coaster. It was good for me though. It was great. I ended up riding it two more times. I did chicken out of the Corkscrew the first time we got in line. Mistie said that her back hurt, so she didn't want to go on it. I used this as a great excuse to get out of it. So John ...

Poaching
2007-05-24 11:11:00
I thouroughly enjoy poaching pictures from my dad's Flickr. So I am.As you can see, my brother and sister are very close. And incredibly adorable. Ask my friends at school. I nauseate them with bragging on them and showing pictures constantly. And Rachel gets it especially bad because my brother, as he has told me, wants to marry her.I always that I would be thrown on train tracks first. Anyway, in other news, I applied for a job at Subway on Tuesday and got made an anchor of the afternoon announcements (or Daily Buzz) at school yesterday. Good times. ...

2007-05-23 23:00:00
This was on MySpace, and I liked it, and I'm going to be an upperclass(wo)man next year so-P.S. To my two class of '11 friends, I apologize. This is no reflection on you.P.P.S. This is from MySpace. I think I edited all the junk out. If I missed something offensive, please tell me.More Than Thirteen Tips to the class of '11 Dear Freshman,Congrats....now you're the lowest of the low, Here are just a few helpful words of advice:You are not cool.Everyone does hate you.You are annoying. Sex doesn't make you cool & it won't make the upper-class boys think any higher of you. So don't go around bragging about it, no one cares & then you look like an easy freshman .. just leave all the things you did in 8th grade in middle school.Dont brag about the number of seniors you know. The more u brag, the more we can tell you're a freshman. You are a F-R-E-S-H-M-A-N.. not a "freshie" - shut up, you sound like a moron Don't walk around telling upperclassmen you're not all stupid freshman, we ...

Right vs. Easy
2007-05-23 10:39:00
I would like for my life to be non-complicated. But unfortunately, apparently there was some kind of cosmic contract signed by me before my birth for my life to be unimaginably messed-up.My dad has warned me that once you put something on your blog, it is fair game for anyone to see, read, and analyze. Against my better judgment, I am going to push publish anyway. My dad also warned me not to e-mail MX to ask him to leave me alone. Unfortunately, he did this after I had already pushed send. I wrote a polite reasoning why we could not be friends and apologized. He e-mailed me back wishing me the best of joy and happiness in life and I thought that it all was over. I felt kind of bad because of how nice he was, but I knew I couldn't and probably wouldn't change any of it.I got an e-mail later on from his girlfriend, asking why I had lied to her and said I didn't know her when she had heard from other people that I don't like her, which I never said to anyone. I've met the girl probab ...

Seriously?
2007-05-22 11:04:00
This is a phrase that I have said so many times the past couple of days. Here's a journey of the insanity of my life. These are some things that really did get me thinking "What the muffin?"Yesterday, my friend Maggie came up to me and said, "Rebecca, you're my future doctor friend. Is my nose infected?" First off, just the question 'Is my nose infected?' is enough to get you going 'what?'. Maggie knows that I no longer want to be a doctor, but she also likes to torment me because of my love of diagnosing my friends through middle and elementary school. So I digress. I looked at her nose and, sure enough, the right nostril was swollen. "What did you do, woman?""Oh, I was bored so I pierced my own nose.""Seriously, Magz? Your nose? Seriously? Go see a doctor. And find a hobby."I was on EC last night, which I love, and before I signed off I saw that my inbox had a 1 next to it. I've been getting e-mails interrogating me as to why I didn't accept links to people. So, was thoroughl ...

This is me....
2007-05-21 11:06:00
Go figure. I like this picture of me. Except for that suspicous green light to the side, which I am clueless as to what exactly it is. And the stupid photo editor won't let me crop it out without a big white splotch where it once was. Aggggh! This is also a rare image of me with a tooth smile. I hate my tooth smile. As you can see by the gap, I have a fang. Ick. No fun. This will eventually need to be repaired by braces. Goody.I love my hair. Kelli did it for the HOP thing last night, which was a blast by the way. I love it, but as simple as it is to do, I can't figure out how to get my hair to do it. She did this with nothing but 2 bobby pins and some hairspray. She's amazing. It's official. And my outfit, which you can't see, also rocks. It's my favorite black jacket and a long skirt.I'm sorry, this is a vain post. I know. *insert Carly Simon song here* I just never take a picture of myself that I like, and I liked this one. I also will never cease to be amazed at how good of p ...

Awkward MySpace
2007-05-21 10:09:00
This is boring, except for my rantings, which some of you seem to like...The Survey was about your first person listed as a friend on MySpace, which happens to be my best friend, Deana.FYI, I'm turning this into a meme about your significant other (which you should enjoy, Liz. I know that 's your favorite blogging subject!) Or best friend, because that has the potential to be funny. So umm... Lizness, Sis.Jewel, Sis.Theresa, and Deana....TAG!!!! You're it!1 What is their name? Deana2 What pet name do you like to call them? EDNA!!3 How long have you been together? We're together?4 How did you meet? BQ5 What do you like the most about them? she's fun6 What do you like the least about them? she doesn't call back sometimes7 What is the best thing they have ever done for you?
