Mommy, it's time you had your makeover
2007-12-10 05:50:24
Whether they stay at home or help on family's income by engaging into a corporate work or just the simple yet helpful ones, mommies take the most important part of our lives. Their warm and caring nature make our home a home. They were the ones who bore us to this wonderful world of living and they do a lot of different toils on a regular basis to make our lives any better. And yet sometimes we tend to forget to do things, simple or extraordinary, to please them. This Christmas why not take...

A gay video: Harry Potter still uncircumcised
2007-12-10 05:10:46
I was bloghopping and got to this particular blog which at first I had not any idea that it was Bisaya until I came to his post about a Harry Potter video with his post title Harry Potter Wa Pay Tuli (Harry Potter still uncircumcised). It was actually a ripped vid of the first Harry Potter movie, in Snape's class, apparently Harry's first meeting with this professor. The dub is so gay it made me laughed my lungs out, and trust me when I say gay. I mean it.
Here's the vid, anyway. This is in...

An Eel-ectrifying Christmas Tree
2007-12-09 04:36:32
Who says fishes are only good for eating? At Aqua Toto Gifu aquarium in Japan, a large electric eel is employed to power lights on a Christmas tree. The electric transmission is through copper wires which when the electric eel touches send power that lights up ornaments surrounding the Christmas tree.
Officials expect the "eel Christmas tree" to be a popular attraction for dating couples in the lead-up to Christmas Day, when the tree will be removed, reported Mainichi.

How much I have traveled Philippines
2007-12-09 01:59:53
We all have our dreams of going abroad to hopefully seek the so-called greener pasture. We even imagine of the certain places overseas that we surely would visit once we got there in that particular country. What we forget somehow is that we become strangers to our own land, as the Filipino adage goes, "'wag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan".
Highlighted below are the places that I have been to. I never got to many places in the Philippines yet...
My Lakbayan grade is D!

Get to know my roommates
2007-12-09 01:56:57
I started moving into Davao City when September of this year neared to its ending, primarily because of the extensive review in preparation for the Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE). Finding a probable dormitory was never a difficult task, as two of my friends had already canvassed the place. The only problem was that there had been a seemingly lack of available room. The good thing, however, was that the second floor which supposedly for office purposes was given to us to live in one of the rooms...

Mayweather punches down Hatton at 10th round
2007-12-09 01:06:07
I got impatient watching the Mayweather-Hatton today on local TV, and therefore was bored, so instead of watching the game on TV I just went online to see who actually wins, and immediately as I opened Yahoo I was greeted by this Mayweather-Hatton fight report.
No contest in Mayweather-Hatton
by: Kevin Iole
LAS VEGAS – Floyd Mayweather Jr. had the short end of the crowd, but the better end of the fight Saturday and dominated Ricky Hatton in their heavily hyped bout for the WBC welterweight...

Win a Nintendo Wii this season
2007-12-09 00:41:22
I didn't know where I was actually heading to that time but I dropped by a site of a journey of an internet entrepreneur and was so enticed about a teaser in his sidebar that said "Win a Wii". Therefore I clicked it right in an instant and got to his specific post as how to win the console, and I am sharing this for you to have the chance to win the item, too.
Truebluetitan.com's author is cooking a dish for us to feast on this holiday to celebrate his wonderful journey becoming an internet...

Cracking pistachio nuts
2007-12-08 01:49:31
This week has been a very boring one for me; I am so unproductive, and I kind of feel guilty about it. I wanted to go out; alas, I don't have the money, and I have to refrain from asking too often from my family, as I know they have spent a lot for me during my reviews for the Nurse Licensure Exam. I am out of school already and there is not a scholarship anymore to grant me allowances monthly. Too bad. So you can just imagine I am reduced to a typical bummer's life, which includes eating,...

Christmas, not Xmas
2007-12-08 00:28:16
I got totally curious and surprised when I opened my mailbox today by an email subject that said, It Isn't Xmas, but Christmas. And because I was that curious it was the one that I actually opened first among the long list of my emails.
The email was from my subscription in AllFunPages. I was totally touched when I visited the link. It's true, sometimes we substitute Xmas for Christmas. There was even one post here in my blog that I used the former instead of the original (latter). In today's...

Things I will always hate about big cities (or Davao City, that is)
2007-12-07 08:16:18
(Photo from BT Niko of Flickr)
I grew up in a place where life is pleasantly simple, where the usual still gives an everyday surprise. In fact, it was not until I was eleven—and two months before my twelfth birthday—that the municipality where I dwell officially became a city.
In the Philippines, a city does not necessarily mean like those in big countries such as America. There are only few cities in my country which by their names alone are already “big time”, and famous...
