Another New Addition 2008-02-07 21:24:00 My little brother and his wife had their second child this afternoon. Their first child was still born back in November of 2006. It was a very difficult time for them and I am overjoyed that now they are proud parents of such a beautiful little girl!!! She is a teeny tiny little girl, compared to her recently born 9lb cousin Jerimy. She weighed in at 4lbs 12oz. She was born a few weeks early. There are some concerns with her heart. I'm not sure of the specifics of it all but it's an "irregular" beat. She is being tested and well taken care of, so hopefully we'll know something soon and it will be good news. Her name is Reagan (and I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right) Elizabeth. She looks just like my little brother did when she was small. 7 Things Meme 2008-02-06 18:05:00 I was tagged by Linda and Kaila's Mommy to do the 7 things meme. I thought I'd an a twist on this one to make it a bit interesting. So, I'm going to tell you 7 things about my husband, Brien. :) 1. He's a great cook. He can cook a mean pot of chili. The only downfall to his cooking is that he does not clean up afterward, he doesn't even attempt to clean while he's cooking or keep from making a mess. I have learned to love him for this because I can't compete when it comes to his chili!2. Brien own's his own business. He's a master plumber. He does new construction commercial and residential. He amazes me with his memory. I work in a showroom for a plumbing supply retail company and I provide fixtures for a lot of his jobs. He'll come in and ask me about a particular job and I'll have to go pull the job folder, but he can remember every aspect of the job! I don't know how he does it. He can also pretty much tell you to the penny at any given time how much money ...

This is Tyler, Mommy is typing for me of course.My mommy informed me that the lovely Ms Sanni has a son named Luis and he tagged little ole me for a meme. Since I don't know how to type and I don't even know what meme means, Mommy is helping me tell you 7 things about myself. So, here goes: * I have two stick horses that I LOVE to ride. One's "my black horse" and the other's "my brown horse". I take turns riding them because I ride them so much I make them very tired, so I have to let one rest while I ride the other. They are good to me and get me where I need to go. *I have two cowboy hats that I wear when I ride my ponies. I have a black hat and a straw hat. Pregnant! 2008-02-03 18:13:00 Gosh, I am SO pregnant! Today hubby and I had a late lunch at The Dixie Cafe. We were both pretty hungry so we decided to have appetizers. I chose deep fried pickles dipped in Ranch Dressing. :) Yup, that is most definitely the food of choice for a pregnant woman, right?! Superbowl Sunday 2008-02-03 11:07:00 I guess for all of your sports fans, today's your big day, right?! The superbowl comes on tonight. To be honest, I could not tell you who is even playing in this year's game. I did learn of the disappointing half time entertainment, however. Some years, I watch for the commercials, but in the past few years it seems as though they aren't even worth tuning in for. Big News! 2008-02-01 08:51:00 Here in the household of the CrAzY Working Mom, we have major changes on the horizon. We found out last month that we will be welcoming a new addition to our family in mid-August. Shelby is excited to be a big sister again and Tyler is ecstatic to be no longer be just a little brother. Now he will have a chance to be a BIG brother. Brien and I are still in a bit of a state of shock because we were not planning on a third child. That being said, we are very happy to know that we will get to go through the whole process again. I will visit my OBGYN for the first time on Wednesday, February 13. We're excited to get to hear that heartbeat and hopeful that we will just hear one. Yes, twins run in Brien's family, his grandfather was a twin as well as mine. I have a twin brother and sister. I will update as things change but for now that's the major news around here. We waited to tell the kids, but many family members have leaked the news to others and there are people that know ...

Valentine's Treats & Contest 2008-01-31 17:53:00 My kids love Fruit Rollups. Actually truth be known, I like them pretty well myself. The newest craze are the ones with the prints on them that you press on your tongue and it makes a temporary tattoo of sorts on your tongue. My kids have loads of fun playing with those! Just in time for Valentine's Day, the creative minds at My Fruit Rollups have created an amazingly fun website where you can actually design your own fruit roll ups! Just a Swangin' 2008-01-30 21:07:00 I've been looking at varieties of swing sets at various locations because I think this summer we will end up getting a new one for our children. The one we have is in decent shape, but it only has one swing on it, due to the fact that the other swing was missing when we moved in, we added one of those plastic baby swings which was perfect for Tyler the previous two years he played on it. Since he now likes to climb to the top of the slide and jump down, he's big enough to graduate from the baby swing. Tyler's birthday is in August, but it's not really fair to buy an outside toy that both kids will enjoy for his birthday, so we will probably just end up buying it just because for the two of them. Update Post 2008-01-29 21:05:00 Pardon me for my absence over the past few days. It's been a long and tiring weekend for my family. Both kids were sick (again!). I had to take off work yesterday to take them to the doctor. We sat in the pediatrician's office for over 2.5 hours yesterday afternoon. It was quite miserable. When we left there were more people in the waiting room than when we arrived. This crazy weather, I'm sure can take a lot of the blame! Today, for instance our high was 78°. That probably sounds GREAT to a lot of you, doesn't it? The bad thing is that it was rainy and wind gusts got up to 40mph. The temperatures are steadily dropping, and our projected low is 20 for tonight! THAT, my friends is why we're all sick! In fact, Tyler has pneumonia. We had to get X-rays yesterday and he was a big boy during his "pictures". He's taking a ten day antibiotic. Hopefully he'll recover quickly. Shelby got off a bit easier. She just had a "stomach bug". She's still not feeling 100% b ...
