My new furniture 2008-01-04 20:41:00 I hadn't mentioned a gift that I received for Christmas. In fact since my laptop broke down on me, I haven't discussed Christmas much at all. But, I did get a beautiful photo frame. It's not just any photo frame, however. It is more of a piece of contemporary furniture. It is a three panel frame with four sections on each panel. Each section holds an assortment of sizes of photos. I really do love it. Special Birthday Wishes 2007-12-29 07:31:00 Today is a VERY special day for a most special person in my life. My very best friend in the whole wide world turns the big THREE-OH! As you might remember I turned 30 back in November. I thought I was going to have a hard time with it, but as it turns out most of you were right...it IS just another number and so what if I have to check a different box on any form now that says 30-50 instead of 20-30. *Sigh*Anyhow, today is my best friend Becca's special day. She was in Arkansas for the holidays and will be traveling back to her home in Baltimore today. If you could go over and say Happy Birthday to my B/F/F you can have a slice of cake! :) Yup, I said cake...what's a birthday without cake?! Becca is a connoisseur of fine wines, in fact she frequently attends and hosts wine parties at her home in Baltimore, Maryland. Christmas Morning 2007 2007-12-27 14:00:00 The kiddos were up at around 7am Christmas morning. They were bright eyed and bushy tailed. Santa had left them lots of gifts and a full stocking. They started out with opening their stockings. They got lots of fun stuff. Shelby got cute jewelry, HSM hair stuff, etc. They both got coloring books and crayons as well as foaming soap. Tyler got a Wonderdog video and some toy cap guns, lots of toy cars, and candy. The kids enjoyed opening their gifts. Shelby was much more into it than Tyler was, though. Tyler would open a gift he'd want to play with and he forgot about the huge pile beside him that he had yet to open. Shelby opened one right after another. The only time she stopped was when she got a red princess dress. She stopped to put it on and added some lip gloss and then resumed the gift opening. Update 2007-12-27 09:44:00 Hello all! I am still alive...barely. I've woke up yesterday morning feeling like "Death Eating A Cracker" as Amanda would say. I don't know if I ate something that didn't agree with me or whether it was just my turn to knock on death's door. Regardless, yesterday was horrible and today I feel a bit better, but I am just so weak that I start to get up and do something and I have to stop mid-way and go sit back down. Time off for the holidays! 2007-12-23 15:45:00 I am SO glad to have some time away from work! Selling plumbing fixtures is a rewarding job and I make good money and the people I work with are great. All that said, it is just great time have some time away from the stress of daily life and some time to relax. Well, as much as one can relax with a puppy, 2 year old boy and 5 year old daughter! As for me, I've been busy preparing for the wonderful approaching holiday! :) I need to get off my booty and get in the kitchen and make some brownies.
