Ikinasindak ng maraming manonood ang nakita nila noong Lunes, August 20 sa noontime show na Wowowee. Marami na ring kopya ng video ng episode nito ang nasa Youtube at talaga namang umani ng kabi-kabilang batikos.
Ang “Wilyonaryo”, na bagong portion ng Wowowee, ang tinutukoy sa kontrobersya. Maaaring manalo ang kahit na sino ng 2 million pesos, 1 million pesos, 500 thousand pesos o House and Lot. Kagaya ng maraming game show, binibigyan ang contestant ng dalawang choices, kung kukunin o hindi kukunin ang premyo o alok. Are you a loner? If anyone would ask me that question, I surely would not be reluctant on answering a short nod. My eyes would then be sharply fixed on the inquirer.
I stand blameless for my situation. I can’t finish reading the novel I borrowed from the school library, I eat alone during lunch breaks, I don’t know where to go during my vacant periods, I deprive myself from sleeping, I rarely talk to people, I forgot how to smile, I no longer recite actively in my classes. The long vacation is already over but sagacity compels me to be anxious of this school day. I was late on my first class because of not following the rule I had for myself, for my own good. I went online before going to school that’s why I met with Mr. Heavy Traffic along the way.
Of course, I was not feeling any good on attending my classes, especially the first one. After clinching the six-day oh-that’s-so-wonderful vacation due to Egay, there I was again, around my block mates who don’t want me to be there. I am, however, not speaking in a general sense, for I still do not know if all of them feel or think the same thing.
I do not want to sound ridiculous. Although, I am, by the way.

Being this age doesn’t necessarily bring the hell out of me. The figure shows that I still have an awful lot of things to learn. And so, I see to it that I can show the world who I really am by means of grasping my strengths and surmounting my weaknesses.
At school, I am a very forlorn person who is ofter than never defined as an emo not because of my hair or the way I dress up but because of my emotional differences juxtaposed to theirs. During lunch breaks, I always opt to be alone in a fastfood chain and am usually fed up on observing how other fellows act, talk and behave. Everytime an idea pop through the nerve cells of my cerebellum, I write it down. Queer as it may sound, I list down every name I hear, whether I know the person or not, dreaming that someday, somehow, I will be able to write stories with the help of the ideas I have been gathering and the myriad of names, of course.

It has been a while since the last time I played a delightful computer game. The hell I play computer games.
When my brother had his first notebook computer in 2004, I grabbed every chance to set foot in his room for always. After what seemed like forever, I discovered his password. I learned how to play Age of Empires without asking his very permission to use his computer. I knew then that he will not even let me touch his beloved possession, what more coercing him to let me learn a game. Had he discovered my reticent secret, our father would have chided me in gazillions.
Leastwise, I never envied Ivan’s having a computer. Anyway, it is a birthday gift from our parents. What matters to me is that I enjoyed the little moments I had with that laptop.

It is a general rule on our house that when classes are suspended, one should stay at home, study his lesson and do household chores. Nothing else. Period. End of story. I have been locked up in my room since Wednesday, and two more days to go before I can define the word “freedom” again.
Being the youngest of two children, I have the least priority, so to speak. My older brother, Ivan, who is one year my senior, albeit his age doesn’t have the highest priority, however. Neither of us receives the kind of love we yearned since we were kids. Our parents’ principal priority is themselves, let alone their jobs.
I have no right to blame them. They feed me, they clothe me, they send me to a private school, they buy me things I want, and most of all, they made me.

No classes in Metro, 5 Luzon provinces due to ‘Egay’

Thursday classes in all levels in Metro Manila and five Luzon provinces remain suspended due to Typhoon “Egay”.
Plotted at 500 km northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, by 4 a.m. Thursday, it continues to gain strength with maximum winds of 185 kilometers per hour and gustiness of 220 kph. Storm signal no. 1 is up over Catanduanes, Cagayan and Isabela provinces.
The 5 provinces where classes are suspended are Rizal, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna and Batangas provinces for all levels, as announced by Glenn Rabonza, executive officer of the National Disaster Coordinating Council.
Come Thursday evening, Egay is expected by PAG-ASA to be at 410 km east southeast of Aparri, Cagayan and by Friday evening, 200 km northeast of Aparri, Cagayan or 170 km southeast of Basco, Batanes.
On Saturday evening, the weather disturbance will be 220 km north of Basco, Batanes or near southern Taiwan.
