It's the beginning of the year and time to plan a Super Saturday DIY/Craft day with your girlfriends! Right now I'm doing some research for my Church's "Saturday Spectacular" craft day. Here are some great ideas from some crazy talented bloggers:First off is my friend Katri who organized such a wonderful day. Here is a magnetic board where you use spray on glue to adhere any fabric you'd like. They also made those cool magnets.Katri's DIY day included two diffent types of bath salts and many other fun projects. He would leave a heart cover pencil or a sticker, something inexpensive.On Valentine's day, he woke up to a curtain of hearts hanging in his doorway, and a Valentine Cupcake. So today, TipJunkie.com is proud to present the 'Great Tip Award' to these amazing scrap-crafters!Let's start with Elaine who has many amazing designs. Here are two for Valentine's Day. First off is her cute Valentine treat pouch. Can you imagine getting something like this!?! Who cares what's inside, the packaging rocks!Next up is Elaine's cool candy box. She cut card stock to 5" x 8 1/2" and scored at 2" lengthwise and 2, 4, 6, 8 width wise. She then used the love wheel and then put the box together and put some yummy chocolate inside!Elaine said that she was inspired by Dannie's 2,4,6,8 box. I want to thank Becky over at Becky's Creations for submitting these DIY quote plaques!They are so darling, and yet they are SO easy to make! You can choose the pattern and colors and any saying or quote!How to Make:1. Just go to a craft store and buy a wood plaque, any shape you want, some background pattern paper, and some blank thick paper or cardstock to match the pattern paper.2. Stain the wood with some dark stain.3. Then paste the background paper on.4. Printed the quote on the blank paper and decorated with ribbon.You can do it anyway you want.
