Office Chic from Liz Lange
2007-09-24 19:09:27
Dressing for the office can be a challenge when you’re expecting. You might be confused as to what to buy and how to put it all together, but Liz Lange knows how to create easy, comfortable, stylish looks that will get you through whatever your day at the office might bring. Liz suggests dressing to impress with a selection of work basics that will carry you from meetings in the boardroom to casual Fridays. Office chic tips courtesy of Liz Lange: *For most, business casual is the everyday work attire. The best way to dress for this is to focus on key pieces: a pencil skirt, black pants, a streamlined knit dress, a black jacket and a sleeveless top. Once you have these, you can create a full wardrobe by adding a few standout pieces. *If business casual isn’t an option and you have to wear a suit, buy the foundation and then add in key pieces as you go. A dress, skirt or pants and then a jacket, paired with a few key pieces such as sweaters and blouses will give you more than a wee ...
New Hairstyles
2007-09-24 12:56:52
Hairstyles.info purchased this review from Reviewme.com. I love hair styles, I used to find mine on various websites and then try to combine a few to make that perfect style. I definitely had that one which if you knew me it was bright orange with blonde highlights. Sounds crazy but worked out great! So I am always looking to find new hair styles and really wanted something to expand the beauty section of this site so I think this is a great site to include in our beauty resources. This is is new so its still building all its resources. The website itself has a lot of potential. They just need more hair styles! They have a great starting collection and starting tips collection. So this is definitely a site to keep on the look out with! Of course the first section I checked out was the wedding hairstyles! They definitely had couple amazing wedding hair styles. Some I would be afraid to move in! They are gorgeous but how do you dance in them is what I would love to know? The detail pla ...
Belisi Pocket Squares
2007-09-23 23:52:26
Every week I’ve been highlighting new Belisi Fashions(www.belisi.com) items and ideas. Which has been a great success and I think a lot of fun. So I hope you guys participate in ideas for this week’s item of Pocket Squares. Now you may be wondering why I highlight Belisi, because they are a newer company, their items are made very well and their collection is just gorgeous. So please take part and tell me some of your ideas for this week’s item Pocket Squares. Now I choose the brightly colored yellow one not just because it will work well with a Black Suit on a genlteman. I can’t get Fil into one, even though on our wedding he will be wearing one. I’d love for him to have a pocket square because that plus a tie will just go perfect. My dress is white with blue flowers on it, and if he had a black suit with blue accents I think that will make it pop. So a blue tie (I found a gorgeous Belisi Tie) and a blue pocket square. I’m not so much of a waistba ...
Head Mommy in new WAHM Series!
2007-09-23 16:12:38
Smartmoms-SmartBusiness.com is doing a really awesome series to help work at home mothers  or for those thinking about becoming one. I will be featured as one of the people in this series! Isn’t that great? I will be doing a 20 minute discussion on blog monetization. So this is kind of my first interview and I’m really excited. I still have to sit down and listen to the other great women who have been chosen for this series! But it is really a great idea! I’m working with them to get the series on Pajama Mommy’s website for easier access! Check it out! ...
Momprenuers - Hot Find!
2007-09-23 12:48:49
When I was registering Pajama Mommy I just registered it as a DBA but when it expands I have to decide whether or not to incorporate or get a limited liability company. Depending on the advice of your attorney/accountant. You can actually register out of state. There are a lot of benefits for registering your business out of state. There is no state tax, no franchise tax (if you open one) etc if registering in Nevada. So when you are opening up your business research the benefits of registering out of state. I heard of this company and started to do a little research. Nevada incorporation is their most popular package on this website since it seems to be the cheapest! $75 - Nevada State Filing fee $30 - File stamped copy of Articles $89 - Checking name availability, preparing state-approved Articles of Incorporation, filing Articles with state, mailing them to you. $89 - Registered Agent for one year. Free forms for bylaws, minutes and Stock Certificates Reminders about important ren ...
Don’t Be Afraid of Big Companies
2007-09-23 08:40:59
When it comes to Pajama Mommy’s seal of approval we’re not afraid to write about the large companies and let them know! Why? Well because not only does it give you ideas on awesome products but it broadens our horizons! Are you writing about a big company? Well don’t be afraid to let them know! Pajama Mommy has a series of products we’re reviewing that will be posting soon, some the PR companies have informed us about, others we’ve done of our own accord. Well I spent about 15 minutes emailing the companies who have earned our seal of approval and let them know! What was the result of this? I received emails within 2 hours from the company telling me they want to know when the review is and they will place it on their website! It may just be on the press page, but it informs companies that I exist! Which means future products they will think about sending Pajama Mommy some samples for review or informing us for a future review! It offers a lot of opportun ...
Rent Books Online
2007-09-22 08:23:17
Booksfree.com concept is still rather new to me. I think it is really good idea for those who don’t like their local library or really can’t leave the house. Its an online renting of books and audio books. Similiar to blockbsuter.com and nextflix.com for movies, except they are giving you books Now when I first heard about this I thought hello people? Why don’t you go to a library? But then I thought to myself well why wouldn’t people goto a library? First off if you’ve ever been to my library, it is loud, obnoxious and more of a hang out place now. I mean granted its great its cool to goto the library but when you are loitering and not reading yeah you’re bothering me. So I stopped going. But then I was thinking about my grandmother, she never leaves the house and still loves to read. Instead of buying all her books this might work out better for her. Some people when they get older they don’t leave the house as much, or drive. My grandmothe ...

Rebecca Denny’s ‘LingSue’
2007-09-21 20:13:37
For anyone who has read our reviews before, it is public knowledge that I absolutely love Rebecca Denny! Her designs are refreshing and she caters to the personal style of virtually all women. She provides not only fashionable diaper bags for mommies, which can also double as a handbag or laptop carrier for not just mommies, but even non-mommies, students, or women who pile their entire lives into their purses. However, that’s not all. She also provides matching “Mommy Purses.” I was recently given the opportunity to review another Rebecca Denny purse and as per usual, I was ecstatic. The LingSue bag is of course, stunning and complimented my personal style amazingly. As most know, I shove my life into my purse. When lugging around what I need in a typical day between shipping out packages, picking up office and house supplies, and the list just goes on and on, it is very typical of me to fill a purse up to the brim. Rebecca Denny’s designs cater to this type of woma ...
Groovle Your Home Page
2007-09-21 10:04:34
This is definitely an awesome find. You can make a custom homepage. Similiar to a Google home page, except you choose your own design. Plus you’re still using Google search engine. I Love this! I have giant Pajama Mommy Approved banners, or even my custom logo I had created so I’vebeen testing it and playing around with it. But it is perfect. You might be thinking? Well, why should I get this? Isn’t this basically useless? I beg to differ. Aside from custom branding your hompage with your logo I’ve come up with a few other ideas which means Groovle a WAHM necessity. 1. Graphic todo list. Well one of the most important things about a todo list is being reminded of it. If it is a piece of paper I lose it. If it is attached to my browser everytime I open it up well that is perfect. 2. Daily Affirmations. A lot of people I know do these. So since this is personal, and if it is a computer only you use. Just create a graphic with “I attract money and all thi ...

2007-09-21 09:53:45

This company is like a middle man. It means me the buyer with you a seller of tickets. So you get quite the range of tickets. I was browsing through to see what kind of goodies I can find for our European readers  I went to the Art and Theatre section and found Don Quixote Tickets! That is aweasome. I am constantly on the look out for plays like that or even Sweeney Todd, which I am excited to say is coming to the movies! Its one of my favorite plays and I never had the chance to see it live. Just a taped preformance at school. I also love Les Miserables. I am a big fan of broadway and plays. I am slowly but surely ...

Sweeters Pals
2007-09-19 12:02:20
While you’re browsing the toy aisle of major department stores looking for the perfect doll for your little one, take a few seconds and think about how much more durable and closer to the heart a handmade, knit doll would be. Sweeters Pals are an incredibly cute collection of hand-knit dolls perfect for your daughter, or even your son. They are most 100% of the softest cotton, are 12” long, and come in a variety of colors, each one with their very own characteristics. Sweeters Pals can even be personalized. Because each pal is handmade and made to order, you are even able to change and mix colors. Not only are these cute, “classic, not stuffy” dolls for kids, but they can even be made gifts to the adult in your lives in need of a touch of cute to their bedroom or home office. I received the blue bear with dark blue and green accents and it is beyond adorable, sitting on my desk with me. Sweeters will also be offering larger, 20” dolls as well and the price is fantastic! True Mom Confessions-The Truth About Motherhood
2007-09-18 13:20:05
I’ve never in my life regretted so much that I waited until I was 37 to have a baby…But I now want another little one and I think it’s too late—I am 39. Sometimes I feel like I just can’t take it anymore—debt, work, home, all of it, and I want to give up. And then I see my child looking at me and I know I could never do that to him. Yet somehow I can’t stop wanting to make it all stop. I’m the smartest one in the family. I’m the only one who knows how to change an empty toilet paper roll. All women know the trials and tribulations they go through as soon as their children come bouncing, sometimes not so bubbly into their lives. Most people carry secrets with them throughout their entire lives and no matter what secret it may be or what it may pertain to, very few know the catharsis that comes with getting that deep buried secret off of their chest, whether it be to a trusted friend, significant other, or even just in their journals. But w ...
