Do You See a Sign Of Pregnancy?
2007-08-28 00:30:06
People learn about their pregnancy or the pregnancy of their significant other in a variety of ways. But what exactly is a surefire sign of pregnancy besides the burgeoning belly, the absence of the woman's period or a baby forty weeks later? There are many possible indications that a woman may be pregnant.
One oft-cited sign of pregnancy in the first trimester appears in changes to their body and the way in which it ordinarily functions. For example, a woman's menstrual cycle may change. She may experience a difference in the flow of her period. Or, she may find that she needs to urinate more often than she usually needs to. Also, a woman may be victim to the occasional bout of nausea, or morning sickness. This common tendency in the first trimester causes the woman to feel sick to the point where she may vomit. Many pregnant women cite this ailment and it is maybe the most common sign of pregnancy out of all bodily changes.

An empty stomach seems to cause more nausea, so if you get some crackers into you before you start moving around, sometimes the nausea will go down. Many women find that ...

Deficiency Of Milk.
2007-08-26 08:45:06
Deficiency of milk may exist even at a very early period after delivery, and yet be removed. This, however, is not to be accomplished by the means too frequently resorted to; for it is the custom with many, two or three weeks after their confinement, if the supply of nourishment for the infant is scanty, to partake largely of malt liquor for its increase. Sooner or later this will be found injurious to the constitution of the mother: but how, then, is this deficiency to be obviated? Let the nurse keep but in good health, and this point gained, the milk, both as to quantity and quality, will be as ample, nutritious, and good, as can be produced by the individual.
I would recommend a plain, generous, and nutritious diet; not one description of food exclusively, but, as is natural, a wholesome, mixed, animal, and vegetable diet, with or without wine or malt liquor, according to former habit; and, occasionally, where malt liquor has never been previously taken, a pint of good sound ale may ...
