I have just been given the all-clear to formally adopt David by the head of Malawi's Social Services!!!!The official who visited said he was won over by our domestic bliss - especially when I appeared from the kitchen wearing an apron fresh from baking cakes "looking like a perfect mum". If he only knew that I made the "Justify My Love" Cake! ;)He was so impressed with the African "zoo room" which I had built to educate my children about David's homeland. He freaked me out when he said our carpets were "like walking on live sheep". Nobody has ever described them in that way!He said he was delighted to discover just how far we have gone to make David feel at home. He was so impressed that I have even learned how to speak Chichewa. ...
