I have just sold my Maverick Records label to Warner Music. This settles my little lawsuit with the company. I feel like I finally got what I deserve for all the work I put into that label. This is just one of the items that had to be finalized before I decide whether to stay with my label or not. They are really treating me better now that I have better offers elsewhere. If they keep leaking my new material in an effort to sabotage my new album's sales, we may have yet more legal matters ahead of us! ...

I've been recording with Swizz Beatz on several occasions and I have been very impressed. I was just playing around in the studio and we ended up with a cool cover version of "Sweet Nothin's," an old Brenda Lee song. I'm not sure I'll use it, but my daughter loves it. I'm not so sure though. I've worked on 4 tracks with Swizz Beatz. I can't wait for you to hear some of them! ...

This weekend I am going to purchase a tree for each member of my family. We are going to all get together and plant them. We are going to dedicate our trees to a friend and encourage them to do the same. This is one of the things I am doing personally to save the planet.I ask all of my fans to join me this weekend and plant a tree. Purchase a tree of your choice and plant it in your yard. If you live in an apartment, purchase the tree and donate it to someone else and offer to plant it in their yard. Tell a friend that you did this for them and ask them to do the same.After you plant a tree, take a photo of it and start a blog about all the things you are doing to save the planet.
