Jay-Z On Def Jam Contract: “It’s not about money! I mean, you couldn’t pay me enough.”
2007-12-11 12:48:18
Jay-Z spoke on the rumor of his Def Jam Contract coming to an end and also the grammy’s.
So I gotta ask you: It’s December now. How are you feeling about your contract at Def Jam? That’s coming up soon.
You know, it’s active. We’ll see how it turns out. I mean, we’re close. So we’ll know in the next couple of weeks how it turns out.

2007-12-10 00:21:28
Pacers guard Jamaal Tinsley and several of his associates were shot at with an assault rifle outside of the Conrad Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis earlier today (Dec 9), one of his friends was wounded.
Pacers coach Jim O’Brien:
“We are very happy on one hand that the incident last night didn’t end in anybody dying. That’s the first thing on our mind.”
“We excused Jamaal from practice today because he went through a traumatic experience last night and we wanted him to get away from basketball for the day. ”
“We’re going to meet with him again tomorrow morning. I think we know about as much as everybody else as far as the incident and we’re just very, very pleased that nobody lost their life in that situation….”
“We made a decision as did, I think, 20 other NBA teams, that we’re not having a curfew.”
“We leave it up to individuals to be responsible. Was I happy that somebody was out at 3 o’clock in the morning? No, I wasn’t. But ...
