Ahh yes, Halloween, the holiday of ghosts, ghouls, goblins, vampires, and hood rats (say what?). You heard right I’m sure you’ve seen movies like "Leprechaun in The Hood" play at 1 in the morning on BET but did you know that there is a whole genre of hood horror, no?, didn’t think so. Corny, bad effects, bloody, bad dialogue, and violence everything that makes a great horror movie! So in this week’s special edition weekend movie we will list the top 10 hood horror movies for yall viewing pleasure.
Disclaimer: Although this is a top 10 list viewing these movies may make you lose some brain cells, in other words, the shit’s funny but not too scary and damn sho’ dumb.

Clipse Ink Deal With Columbia Records

After a long painful stint with Arista Records which was dissolved into its sister label Jive Records, the Clipse have signed a new 50/50 profit share deal with Columbia Records.
The contracts stipulations are that Clipse will own the masters of its artists, Ab Liva and Sandman. The Clipse have a album slated for release next year which will not be fully produced by the Neptunes for the first time, although they assure that they are on good terms. They look forward to working with Timbaland, Danjahandz, and Dame Grease to switch up the production on the album. A Re-Up Gang album is in the work and will be released prior to a full length Clipse album.

T.I. Out On Bail

A federal judge released T.I. on $3 million bail friday. The stipulations? T.I. must remain under house arrest until his trial, a private monitoring company must live on the premisis, and he is subject to random searches. The private monitoring company, which will be keeping track of him 24 hours a day 7 days a week, is to be paid by T.I.
He has to stay at home except for medical examinations and court appearances. And he must stay away from witnesses.
No court date is set.

Pete Rock Releasing New Album “NY’s Finest”

Four years after his last release "Soul Survivor II", Pete Rock is releasing his new album, "NY’s Finest".
He hasn’t been sitting around idle, actively producing tracks for Talib Kweli and Ghostface Killah.
Although details on the album are far and few between Pete Rock has let the features on the album be known. As with his other albums they will be guest heavy Lox, Slum Village, Redman, Jim Jones, Fat Joe, Method Man, and Papoose are said to appear on the album among others. Pete Rock is handling all the production, of course. He has also confirmed that he will be rapping on 5 songs.
"NY’s Finest" is slated for a February 2008 release.

On Thursday, Wayne told us exclusively that he is putting out Tha Carter III: The Leak on December 18, with the official Tha Carter III LP to follow around Valentine’s Day.

Teen in Sex Case Set Free

Georgia’s Supreme on Friday ordered the release of a young man who has been imprisoned for more than two years for having consensual oral sex with another teenager, the Associated Press reported.
The court called Genarlow Wilson’s 10-year sentence cruel and unusual punishment for his conviction of aggravated child molestation following a 2003 New Year’s Eve party at a Douglas County hotel room where he was videotaped having oral sex with a 15-year-old girl. He was 17 at the time.
Wilson was acquitted of raping another 17-year-old girl at the party.
The 1995 law Wilson violated was changed in 2006 to make oral sex between teens close in age a misdemeanor, similar to the law regarding teen sexual intercourse. But the state Supreme Court later upheld a lower court’s ruling which said that the 2006 law could not be applied retroactively.
