Jay Z ‘American Gangster’ Tour Sells Out In Less Than A Minute

According to a statement on the Roc-A-Fella website, the five-city club tour that Jay-Z planned to support his American Gangster album sold out less than 60 seconds after tickets went on sale today. The site claims that the Philadelphia show sold out in 30 seconds, the Los Angeles show in 11 seconds, and the Chicago show in just 8 seconds. While other appearences are rumored in Washington, DC and Atlanta, details have yet to emerge. The scheduled show dates are as follows:
11/6 Los Angeles - The House of Blues
11/7 Chicago - The House of Blues
11/9 Baltimore - Ramshead Live
11/11 New York - The Hammerstein Ballroom
11/12 Philadelphia - The Fillmore

Rapper Coolio To Star In Own Reality Show

Rapper/actor Coolio is set to star in his own Reality Show entitled Coolio & The Gang, which will begin next year on the women’s lifestyle channel, Oxygen.
The premise of the show; Coolio raising 6 kids on his own while juggling his acting and rap career.

Kanye West Prepares Book For Holiday Release

Kanye not one to be outdone by his rival 50 Cent, is preparing his book which slated to be released December. He teamed up with co-author J. Sakiya Sandifer after reading sample pages from Sandifer’s book Think, Think, Think, and Think Again.
Kanye calls the book a collection of “‘Kanye-isms’ - the creative, humorous and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating my path to success,” he described in an entry on his blog. “It captures the same wit, playful irony, and piercing insight found abundant in my lyrics. In Thank You And You’re Welcome! I deliver my personal message uncensored, without any five-second delay or media distortion.”

By now I’m sure most of you have heard of the voluptuous Melyssa Ford. The music video director Little X discovered Melyssa working as a bartender in Toronto and helped jump start her modeling career (good looking X!). Since then she has been on the cover of Maxim, Smooth, XXL, and King along with being in videos for Usher, Sisqo, Mystikal, 112, and more. Now she has her own website which she sells calendars and videos off of, and she is also a radio personality for Sirius Satellite Radio. Big ups to the beautiful Melyssa Ford.

Lackluster sales of Kelis’s 2006 album “Kelis Was Here” combined with her unusual image could have had alot to do with it. Either that or Jive is getting rid of everybody on their label. She has a record with Cee-Lo in the works and also a record that she is shopping around with Guy Chambers.
