Rumors: Keyshia Cole No Show At R. Kelly Concert

A bunch of rumors have been floating around about Keyshia Cole’s no show in Columbus on Wednesday night.
I’m sure Keyshia Cole stans in Columbus, GA are a bit pissy right now. The kick-off of the R. Kelly “Double Up” Tour was last night in Columbus and sources on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 are saying that Keyshia Cole acted like a true DIVA!!!!!!!
The concert line-up was as follows: J. Holiday opens the show followed by Keyshia Cole, then Ne-yo, and then closing it out is R. Kelly. Well, it seems as though Keyshia felt she is more of a star than Ne-yo and refused to go on before him!!!!!!! After J. Holiday closed his set, Keyshia’s band came on stage for a few minutes and then left the stage without even playing a single tune. Ne-yo’s band came out and Ne-yo performed.

Movie Trailer: ‘First Sunday’ With Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan

Coming out January is First Sunday, which stars Ice Cube, Tracy Morgan, Katt Williams, Melinda Williams, Regina Hall, Chi McBride, Michael Beach, Clifton Powell, and Nicholas Turturro.
The film is directed by David Talbert.
Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) are best friends and bumbling petty criminals. When told they have one week to pay a $17,000 debt or Durell will lose his son, they come up with a desperate scheme to rob their neighborhood church. Instead, they end up spending the night in the presence of the Lord and are forced to deal with much more than they bargained for.

$40,000 Seized From The Game Returned

The Game Yesterday (November 14) won the motion to have $40,000 that was seized from his home returned.
The Game’s home had been searched by police for more than 3 hours after they had arrested him on suspision of making criminal threats.
In June he was arrested on three felony charges, for allegedly punching a man and brandishing a weapon during a game of pick-up basketball at South L.A.’s Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex on February 24th.
He has pleaded not guilty.

Erykah Badu Preps New Album

Erykah Badu recently spoke on her upcoming album KahBa. She said that she reached out to J Dilla, Madlib, Sa-Ra, 9th Wonder, Kareem Riggins, and Rashad Smith for production, among a few others, based on that they are known for being visionaries.
The name of the album is derived from her name but also has a significant meaning in Islamic and Kemetic cultures.
In an interview with SOHH she said that the title of the album isn’t engraved in stone and that it may change:
“As I started to record, I don’t know what it is,” Badu admitted. “As my music belly gets bigger, as the date comes closer to delivering this baby, I figure it would be a little more fair to name it when it’s done and I can see it. Sometimes I have in mind exactly what I’m doing and I have a clever name — like Mama’s Gun. I just knew I was gonna name my album Mama’s Gun and I made the music to fit that title. 50 Cent To Take Over MTV Cribs

50 Cent will be taking over an entire episode of MTV Cribs as he gives viewers a exclusive look into his Farmington, CT mansion. 50 Cent along with G-Unit will be taking viewers on a tour of the 17-acre estate, with 19 bedrooms and 35 bathrooms.
The episode will air at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29 with an encore presentation to follow on MTV2 on December 2.

Mos Def To Perform J Dilla Tribute

Jay Dee will be celebrated at a concert in January 21 led by friend Mos Def. The concert will be held at Ann Arbor’s Hill Auditorium.
Mos Def will be accompanied by his band an eight-piece brass ensemble called Mos Def Big Band.
The performance is being billed as a one-time-only event.
Tickets, $25-$45, go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday online at ums.org, by phone at (734) 764-2538 or in person at the League Ticket Office at 911 N. University Ave. on the campus of U-M.
Dilla died in February 2006 from complications from Lupus.

Jay-Z To Air Concert Free Via MSN

Jay-Z has teamed up with MSN Control Room to broadcast his concert at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday November 11.
Starting on November 19, fans can visit music.msn.com/jayz to access the concert for free.
The broadcast will allow those who couldn’t buy a ticket because of how quickly it sold out (less than 5 minutes), to watch it via stream.
Jay-Z’s American Gangster sold over 440,000 albums the first week, landing it in the number 1 spot, as well as tying him with Elvis Presley’s record for most #1 albums.
