Ne-Yo Kicked Off R. Kelly’s ‘Double Up’ Tour

Ne-Yo has been kicked off R. Kelly’s ‘Double Up’ tour.
“Let them tell it, I was removed from the R. Kelly tour because of contractual agreements not being met, but that’s absolutely false…I believe it was because the first few reviews of the show, people were talking more about my set than his and I don’t think he liked that too much,” Ne-Yo tells BET, “…I’m gonna keep doing what I do, because it’s obvious that’s what was hurting him.”
Ne-Yo’s publicist also released this statement:
“Yesterday, Shaffer Smith aka Ne-Yo was informed that he was being dropped from the rest of the R Kelly tour after delivering two sensational performances. Entertainment reporters, music critics, bloggers, fans, and concert goers all agreed that Ne-Yo’s performances brought the heat; but maybe it brought too much heat.”
The opening line-up for the show is now Keyshia Cole and J Holiday.

D.O.E. Clarifies Timbaland Baby Mama Rumors

NY Post recently said that Timbaland knocked up some random chick. So D.O.E came to the defense of his labels head and mentor. He said that the girl, Monique Idlett and Timbaland actually have been engaged to be married.
“I want to clarify a few things to the Post for trying to make [Timbaland’s] fiancée seem like some random chick he knocked up. That’s his fiancée,” D.O.E. told AllHipHop.com. “I was there when he proposed to her and gave her a rock the size of Scott Storch’s head. This is the happiest I’ve ever seen big homie and I’m happy for him and his fiancée.”
D.O.E, said that Idlett is Timbaland’s “Beyonce” and, although she doesn’t sing, “she’s a beast with handling business.”
“Not all Black men want to be a baby daddy. Get it right Post,” D.O.E. concluded.

Snoop Dogg Announces Release Date For “Ego Trippin”

Long Beach native and veteran Rapper Snoop Dogg has announced that he will release his ninth studio album, Ego Trippin, in March.
The first single “Sexual Eruption” features Snoop Dogg using the now popular vocoder.
A video for the song will be released, November 28th on TRL, and November 29th on BET’s 106 & Park.

The Oscar-winning actor and Grammy-winning musician and his business partners, Jaime Rucker King and Marcus King, under a two-year production deal are developing a show titled From G’s To Gent’s. The show will feature a group of men who compete to become gentlemen.

Dame Dash Owes The State Of New York $2 Million In Taxes

Roc-A-Fella co-founder Dame Dash has made New York State’s list of people who tried to jook the government, failing to pay over $2 Million in taxes. Dame is among the 225,000 city debtors who have managed not to pay over $1 billion in income taxes, penalties, and interest. He filed a lawsuit against his accountant in April of this year for incorrectly filing Dash’s tax returns for the years 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Dame, the government don’t play, better pay up pimpin’ cause when the IRS want their money they get it.

Rapper T.I. Hosts Thanksgiving Dinner And Donates Hundreds Of Turkeys

T.I. and his Grand Hustle K.I.N.G Foundation will be hosting Thanksgiving dinner for those in need at Club Crucial on Thursday(November 22). The dinner will begin at 6PM and end at 9PM. In addition T.I.’s foundation will be delivering 200 turkeys to the West side of Atlanta and 200 turkeys to the East side of Atlanta. T.I. and industry peers got together to raise $150,000 for the Hosea Williams Feed The Hungry Thanksgiving Day Dinner Event. T.I. is currently under house arrest and awaiting trial for various gun charges. He is currently working on a new album tentatively named Paper Trails
