Custom Made Drops "Heavy Traffic!" (New Mixtape Download + News)

West Up. We're (Custom Made crew, not HHR) back at y'all with a new treat, the opportunity to download "Heavy Traffic," (see below) the fourth installment of the popular "Street Cinema" mixtape series from Los Angeles' own Custom Made. The MC collective of Scoobs, Aneek, Element, Bluff and Sinister Six have made themselves fan favorites worldwide by dropping mixtape after mixtape of straight up Hip Hop with an LA twist. Signed with acclaimed label BabyGrande Records, the group has been in the studio through out the year working on the upcoming release of their debut album "Fresh Out."Their strong work ethic led to them recording enough music to bring us the free download of their Rawkus Records EP "Truth Be Told" this past April and the new project. VH1 wants the next "Great Hip Hop Producer"

Today VH1 launches "THE SCORE," an online search to find the best undiscovered hip hop producer in the country. VH1 will give one lucky producer the opportunity to heat up VH1's fourth annual hip hop celebration by awarding him or her with the opportunity to create and produce the official score of the annual, televised event. The winning score will be used during the broadcast of "VH1 Hip Hop Honors" on October 8 at 10PM*.Through August 20, contestants can post their 60-second beats for consideration at http://hiphop.vh1.com/ . Aesop Rock preps new album "None Shall Pass"

August 28th marks the release of None Shall Pass, the fourth album from Definitive Jux’s best-selling rapper, Aesop Rock.Created over a two year period following his last release (Fast Cars, Danger, Fire and Knives EP), None Shall Pass documents not only a vast amount of personal change that Aesop experienced over this time, but deftly depicts scenes and stories relative to all ages of life. According to Sandy Lal, Lil Flip's attorney and manager, the charges against Lil Flip are complete nonsense and will quickly disappear. Flip had absolutely no involvement with any sort of credit card fraud. He never personally handles any travel arrangements, that is left to promoters and travel agents. Any wrongdoing of any sort is clearly in THEIR hands. It's unfortunate that Flip was a victim to this charade and his name has been tied to this situation due to his celebrity status. Nevertheless, we are in the midst of negotiations for various ventures including a multi million dollar relaunch of his Lucky Nites cognac.According to Lil Flip's Houston criminal attorney, Stanley Schneider, Lil Flip nor anyone associated with him had any knowledge that a stolen credit card was being used by a person hired to arrange his travel.
