Keith Urban was born 26 October 1967 in Whangarei, New Zealand. Guitarist Keith Urban made his name by mixing Nashville sounds with the scruffy rock-n-roll looks of Kurt Cobain. Urban was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia; determined to be an entertainer, he quit school as a teenager and began singing and playing guitar professionally. A 1990 record deal with EMI produced his first album, Keith Urban. The album spawned several hit singles in Australia and prompted Urban’s 1992 move to Nashville, Tennessee, the hub of the country music industry. He found work as a session guitarist and had modest success with the band The Ranch, then went solo. His 1999 American debut album (also titled Keith Urban) yielded three top hits and won him the Academy of Country Music Award as Top New Male Vocalist. The Jonas Brothers band consist of three brothers Kevin Jonas, Nicholas ‘Nick’ Jonas and Joseph ‘Joe’ Jonas. They were originally from Wyckoff New Jersey, where Kevin was born. Whilst Joe was born in Arizona and Nick in Texas. Music always played a major part in the brothers’ lives growing up in New Jersey. Their parents are both musicians, so gathering around the piano for sing-alongs was an essential part of regular family bonding, yet each brother found his own musical calling in a different way.Nick Jonas was originally working as a soloist and on Broadways when Columbia Records signed him but also discovered that ‘Kevin’ and ‘Joe’ also had musical talents. The three brothers decided to join together and make a band.

2008-02-03 16:03:24
Paul Potts was born 13 October 1970 in Bristol near Port Talbot. Potts was raised in Fishponds, Bristol, by his father Roland, a bus driver, and mother, Yvonne, a supermarket cashier. He has two brothers and one sister, and attended St. Mary Redcliffe school where he first developed his love of singing. In the interview that was broadcast before his performance in the semi-final, Paul stated that he had trouble with being bullied in school, and that it may have had an influence on his lack of self-confidence. Potts first sang opera in 1999 in a karaoke competition, dressed as Pavarotti, although he had said during the show that his voice had always been a source of solace in the past when bullied, so he would have sung from a younger age. That same year he appeared in the Michael Barrymore talent show My Kind of Music. Although he did not win the competition, he won _ 8,000, which helped to pay for singing lessons in Italy. During his singing course he was selected as one of the best s ...

2008-02-02 17:02:53
Los Angeles based R&B vocalist Colbie Caillat is a singer songwriter with songs based on a humble approach sounding like sweet honey flowing over rocks. Although her music is acoustic based, the arrangements go much deeper, culling from classical folk, jazz & pop, with her distinguished breathy vocals and dynamic melodies commanding the audience of the listeners she’s gained. Colbie Caillat, born in California grew up in Malibu and Ventura County. Growing up surrounded by music with her father, Ken Caillat, who was most notably remembered for Co-Production and Engineer credits on Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours among several others. She’s Madonna - Robbie Williams
2008-01-30 17:16:34
Ya, my friends. It’s a brilliant single that unfortunately just isn’t getting any big publicity. ‘She’s Madonna’, the third single from his Rudebox debacle, is better than the tabloid press would have you believe. Over a gurgling electro backing from the Pet Shop Boys, Robbie suppresses his usual self-indulgent whining to reveal an acute fascination with the Queen of Pop - “We’re having drinks with Kate and Stella, Gwyneth’s here and she’s brought her fella” suggests someone’s a fan of the 3am girls. Anyway this is brilliant. Absolutely sodding brilliant. Stop sniggering at the back. Apparently inspired by Guy Richie’s brilliant dumping of a former girlfriend (”I love you baby, but face it, she’s Madonna”, a line that forms the chorus) this is a slab of absolute deep-fried electro gold, as camp as a row of tents, barking mad (there’s even a Japanese spoken word section!) and with a strange f ...

Boyz II Men - biography, discography, mp3 download
2008-01-29 17:10:37
Boyz II Men, all music group participants: Nathan Bartholmew Morris, Michael Sean McCary, Shawn Patrick Stockman, and Wanya Jermaine Morris, they are dreamed only of being a successful music group. They no longer have to dream. These four incredible talents have accomplished so much in just twelve years. Their story is something that could be perfect for a movie. This biography will tell the incredible story of how four men single handedly conquered the music world. In 1992, just as the excitement over Cooley high harmony seemed to be dying down a bit, the soundtrack of the Eddie Murphy movie Boomerang, which featured the Boyz II Men track “End of the Road,” was released. The single hovered at No. 1 for a phenomenal thirteen weeks, beating an eleven-week record set by Elvis Presley’s “Don’t Be Cruel/Hound Dog” single back in 1956.

Call Me Irresponsible - Michael Buble
2008-01-28 12:26:00
I head an opinion that Call Me Irresponsible is an Canadian answer to Frank Sinatra. I agree with this opinion:Call Me Irresponsible is the latest album of Michael Buble. The singer has already gained success in recent years with albums It’s Time and Caught in the Act and singles including one of 2005’s most played radio tracks Home.
The new album mixes old standards including That’s Life, The Best is Yet To Come and the title track, with new songs such as Lost - a melancholy tribute to a break-up - and the first single from the album, Everything. I can say that Call Me Irresponsible is the wonderful trip to the past. Among the standards made popular by Sinatra in the forties and fifties - among others of the era - is the Mel Torme song “Comin’ Home Baby” which Buble’ performs with the R&B group Boyz II Men, the Eric Clapton tune “Wonderful Tonight” with Brazilian Ivan Lins with Lins singing in his native Portuguese, and Bub ...

Katie Melua - biography, music albums
2008-01-27 15:06:04
Katie Muela was born in Georgia in the former USSR (vodka, Stalin, Shevardnadze, Katie Melua) in 1984, living in Moscow for a while when she was three or four. Not surprisingly she doesn’t remember a lot of Moscow back in the communist time, although one thing Katie remembers is that the place they were staying in did the most amazing pancakes she has ever tasted. Leaving Moscow and the pancakes Katie Muela spent most of my childhood in Georgia in the seaside town of Batumi. When she was nine, her dad got a job as a heart surgeon in Belfast, so Katie’s family moved there. Katie Muela said that she found the people in Northern Ireland extremely warm and made great friends at St. Catherine’s primary school and Dominican College, Fort William. She started writing songs a few years ago and has (with her parents’ help) a small studio set-up at home. Katie influences are Queen, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Eva Cassidy, Irish folk music and Indian music. The end of 2003 ...

Sugababes - biography, music, albums
2008-01-26 15:43:24
The Sugababes are Award-winning female pop group trio from London, England formed in 1998. The Sugababes were originally composed of Mutya Buena, Siobhan Donaghy, & Keisha Buchanan. Mutya and Keisha have been friends since they were 8 years old. They met Siobhan at a party and soon discovered that they loved to sing and decided to form a group called “Sugababes”. They chose the name at the age of 12 and 13 cause at the time they were still eating baby food! They found a manager and were signed to London Records and began working on their debut album. Over time these young women (still in their teens) have matured into formidable singers, songwriters and producers crafting catchy and feisty pop songs.
They co-wrote all their songs & did their own melodies. With over 40 tracks done it was hard for the girls to decide which to put on the album. I The Sugababes released their debut album “One Touch”, to a rave of reviews, in November of 2000. It included 4 t ...

Michael Buble biography
2008-01-25 17:07:27
So, you don’t know who is Michael Buble? I can’t realize it. If it a true, simply go and listen his music, I swear you will not be disappointed, my friends. Michael Buble grew up near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He was introduced to swing music and old standards by his grandfather, who offered his services for free as a professional plumber to musicians who were willing to let Michael sing a couple of songs with them on stage. Michael’s big break came when, singing at Brian Mulroney’s daughter’s wedding, he was introduced to David Foster who took him under his wing. His self-titled debut album came out February 12, 2003 and has since gone gold in Canada! As Michael Buble eagerly absorbed the recordings, he began to realize that he wanted to be a singer and that this style of music, virtually foreign to his own generation, was what he wanted to perform. With his grandfather’s assistance, Michael Buble soon learned a whole catalog of tunes and ...

Scorpions - Live At Wacken
2008-01-24 15:50:40
A couple o words concerning Scorpions album Live At Wacken I want to say. I can open a little secret: I’m a fun of Scorpions since childhood and all their new and old singles I eat with pleasure. I bought this album a few years ago and want say that listen it time at a time. I can’t say that I love hard rock so mush: no, hard rock is dead (sorry all hard rock amateurs, excluding Rammstein, thay are really dinosaurs). But hard rock as I music genre is not popular: The majority of hard-rock artists are migrated to most popular area: pop-rock, pop, R&B (ooh, what the shit is). Anyway concerning Scorpions: they exist so much time and their migrations don’t look like as treason of hard-rock style, no: I think it’s an experiment and very successful experiment. As for me I listen their album Live At Wacken with great pleasures: Why? First, it’s big. It contains 28 tracks and all of them come from different periods. Klaus Meine is really great singer: His voic ...
