The editors at Marketing Prowess are issuing an alert. If you aren’t using or currently exploring ways to utilize online video in your marketing efforts then you are at risk. You are at risk of loosing market share, site traffic, and search engine ranking position.
According to a BurstMedia survey, 7 out of 10 adult internet users viewed online video content and more than half of respondent’s age 65 and older are watching online video clips. Additionally, “more than half of online video viewers recalled seeing in-stream advertisements in content they had watched.”
If you think online video shouldn’t be in your multi-channel marketing arsenal or web video is only watched by Generation Y- your wrong. The question every marketer should be asking themselves is how am I going to integrate online video into my 2008-2009 marketing mix?

Top Marketing and Business Books of 2007 by Marketing Prowess
Every December I start getting excited. Not for Santa Claus or Rudolf, not for a New Years Eve or Christmas caroling, but for John Moore’s (Brand Autopsy fame) annual list of Marketing Book Awards. Past recipients of the prestigious honor include some of my all time favorite titles ZAG by Marty Neumeier, The Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki, Seth Godin’s Free Prize Inside and Lessons From a Chief Marketing Officer by Bradford Kirk.
The 2007 list once again lived up to my expectations. Featured are a strong group of titles that should be on your shelf in ‘08.
