Just WoW!! 2007-11-28 15:59:00 So over a couple of months ago I received a notice from the IRS that I owed money for unfilled taxes for 3 + years. I was shitting bricks because I knew this was going to come back and bite me in the ass. I work on a commission only basis and I do have a tax guy but I owed him money from the awhile back that I have not finished paying. And to come to him needing 3 years worth of taxes done without being able to pay him for what I owed seemed to be asking a hell of allot. The IRS put a lien on my check for 1/4 of my check for each check twice a month. I knew I needed to do whatever it took to get this shit handled. I talked to my tax guy and went in with my head down and explained my situation. He wanted a retainer of half of the amount but after the IRS lien I could barely pay bills but he did it anyways and just allowed me to pay when I can. Ranting about my life 2007-11-15 12:15:00 You know, I think somehow in life I drew the shortest straw. I am the ultimate sucker. How is it that I live my life day in and day our working and chasing dollars only to give a large portion of my money to someone else. I am always being told I should save money. People don't realize that in my situation I cant save money. I am one of those people who seem to get nickel and dimed to death. I am literally in a prison with invisible chains. I have had a better life when I had no job and I was living out of my car. I had freedom then, I had choices. I could go anywhere I wanted and start a new life if I wanted. I did that. Low Blood Iron 2007-11-14 16:12:00 So last Sunday me and the rest of my roommates have an roommate island vote off. 4 of the 7 roommates want the evil couple to leave. So looks like they will be evicted. I don't know how its going to unfold. I'm just going to wait it out. Apparently they have until the end of the month to find a new place. I will be moving into a bigger room on the other side of the house. I think I will be having a yard sale soon while the weather is good. This way I can make some money on all the junk I have collected throughout the years as well as get rid of extra junk. Win win situation. Ebooks and audiobooks and MP3's 2007-11-09 15:23:00 Well couple of things new. I found a great new website. Its right up my alley. It is calle Scribd.com . It is a website that will store all of your text files for you or keep them on thier server for others to use. The cool part of the website is, once you upload your book via PDF or Text or Word Doc. It saves it so that you can downoad it in another format hence from PDF to Word Doc or vice verse or whats really cool is you can download it via MP3 as it has a built in Text to Speach replicator. Any book that you upload you can instantly turn into an audiobook. Since I have over 2,000 ebooks and hardly have time to read them I do have some time to listen to audiobooks on my drive to work and back and whenever. My Treo 650 comes in handy as a MP3 player and also a PDF reader. So if I do have time I can read a book off of there as well. A few things I wanted to speak about.I am working on a desperate attempt to bring more positive things in my life. I am even working on small Feng Shui changes in my life. Have you ever realized that there are people on this earth who are particularly annoying. I have a roommate who seems to always find ways of annoying me. She is married. I don't speak with her husband but she always tries to get under my skin. I try and ignore them as best as possible. they live across the hallway from me and se share on bathroom between the 3 of us. Thankful 2007-10-24 00:39:00 So last few weeks I have been feeling sort of shitty because I owe $700.00 on a bunch of parking tickets and I cant register my car until it gets paid in full. I cant drive my car for fear that it will get pulled over. I am having to sell my van to pay for the registration. I have been driving my van instead and its been just guzzling gas and I have been all wrapped up with my negative issues and feeling shitty about it. Well just realizing that there are hundreds of people right now as I write this that to no fault of their own are losing their homes due to fires and will be homeless. Not just a few people either. Makes my issues seem really small. Makes me a little more thankful for what I do have and not what I don't. Just a reminder that whenever you are depressed about something ,realize that most likely your issue is just a drop in the bucket towards the ocean of issues the rest of the world deals with. I listen to a Self Help book on my MP3 player daily and I have one of the biggest ebook collections of self help books for every aspect of life. I just wish I had more time to read them. I am only 37 years old but I have always used my voice to sell things. I work now on straight commission and the market has been beat up. So voice plus product plus personality is the only way I have been able to make my living. An idea hit me. I have been listening to self help audio books almost daily if not a self help its been a mystery or suspence audiobook. With the popularity of Ipods and MP3 Players. I mean the only thing that makes me feel better is to know that there are worse situations and that my stress is absolutely nothing compared to others. BUG 2007-10-16 10:43:00 So I watched the movie Bug last night. It had to be one of the strangest movies I have seen in a long time. I was mesmerized by the acting as well as pleased that I was not able to predict the outcome of each scene. It was thoroughly thought provoking. Without ruining the movie, this movie was not about bugs at all, really just the paranoid delusion of the bugs in your body. Most likely brought on by chemical substances. There are a few scenes in which the idea that there is a good amount of cocaine use is made prevalent but the amount of cocaine needed to become that paranoid would have been that of what a rock star might use in a month. However I can see this type of behavior in methamphetamine use.
