He is already suspended so I guess you could argue that it isn't really that way.The coach and instructor of the Portland State cheerleading squad was accused of sexual misconduct with a minor at a Vancouver, Wash., courtroom Wednesday morning. Portland State suspended Neil A. Finger, 28, from his position as the instructor of the PSU cheerleading squad without pay because of the pending litigation against him, said university administrators. Last night, armchair General Sean Hannity did his part to beat the Iran war drums. On Hannity and Colmes, the bellicose host devoted half the show to previewing “what a U.S. strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities would look like“: HANNITY: Mission: Iran Showdown. The objective: destroy and disable Iran’s top nuclear facilities, impact its ability to process and enrich uranium, delay its ability to manufacture and deploy nuclear weapons, all while crippling the ruling regime. SALEM, Ore. -- Opponents of two gay rights laws passed by the 2007 Oregon Legislature turned in what might be barely enough signatures to put the two laws up for a vote in the November 2008 election.Conservative activists submitted what they said were about 63,000 signatures for each of the two referrals -- which after invalid signatures or flawed petition sheets are weeded out might still leave them with the needed 55,179 valid signatures.Be sure to stop by for more later...

SEATTLE (Reuters) - An Oregon judge on Wednesday ruled that two provisions of the Patriot Act violated the U.S. Constitution's protection against unlawful searches and seizures. One way or another... no one is going to forget....The baseball from Barry Bonds’s much-debated 756th home run will soon land in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. When it gets there, it will be branded with an asterisk. Marc Ecko, the fashion designer who bought the ball for $752,467, asked the fans to decide how he should treat the memento. After more than 10 million online votes, 47 percent of voters wanted the ball to be adorned with an asterisk, 34 percent said it should not be changed and 19 percent wanted it to be shot into space.
