Fortune has compiled quite an amusing list of the idiocy fun things that have happened in the business world. The top one is, of course, the various mishaps of China.
During 2007, the Year of the Pig, Mattel is forced to recall almost 20 million items made in China because of lead paint on toy cars and tiny magnets that could be deadly if swallowed. Pet food makers recall more than 60 million cans of food laced with tainted melamine in wheat gluten from China. A huge underground distribution network for steroids, human growth hormones, and other bodybuilding drugs is traced to 37 companies in China.”

As we all know, China is the land of lead contaminated toys - just imagine what could be happening to the fish they send to the West. Unlike Aquadots, you’re actually supposed to eat the denizens of the sea and, well, bad things could happen if the utmost care is not taken with them.
To relieve any tension you might have, here’s an investigative looking into the workings of your average Fuqing Province fishing plant:

Here at MoneyMoose we understand that there are some (albeit few) funny things about work. A site called The Customer Is Not Always Right has a very amusing list of real work experiences that showcase the idiocy peculiarity of shoppers everywhere. Although MoneyMoose does not often write about humor, we too can appreciate the hilarity of these articles. Take this one, for example:

MoneyMoose has shambled along another turkey-filled fun-filled month. We’ve gone through some major changes, the most visible of which is the new and, if I may say, very shiny design. I think it fits the very professional and shiny-like format of the site. A new segment has also been added which details some very simple ways to save money on everything from washing the dishes to watching television: Frugal Living EXTREME!
As I sit in my comfy swivel chair kicking myself from wall to wall of the room and bumping into random things, I can’t help but think of the greatest posts of the month. Well, actually I can, but for the purposes of this post lets say I can’t.

Guerilla Job Recruitment Techniques

Recently I heard a story about a job recruiter from a friend, and I must say that the recruiter’s way of trying to get him a job was quite intriguing. I’ve compiled a step-by-step guide so that you too can be as ingenious as him.
Either hire someone with a thick Indian accent or learn to speak with one. By thick I mean impossible to hear. You’d have to already have an Indian accent and then perhaps burn your tongue to get the level of thickness required.
Get a bad phone with a shaky connection
Find someone who wants to get a job through whatever shady methods you choose (Monster.com, perhaps? Something like that)
Call a potential worker (from now on referred to as PW)

The Future of Cars and the Entrepreneurs that Create Them

Sadly, the cars of tomorrow probably won’t speedily hover down streets - they’ll look a little like the three-wheel two passenger seat motorcycle/car hybrid above. A cartocycle, perhaps? Motorcarcle?
