The amazing power of Deliberate Intent (page206)by Abraham Hicks-It is natural for my body to be well.-Even if I don't know what to do in order to get better, my body does.-I have trillions of cells, with individual Consciousness, and theyknow how to achieve their individual balance.-When this condition began, I didn't know what I know now.-If I'd known then what I know now, this condition couldn't havegotten started.-I don't need to understand the cause of this illness.-I don't need to explain how it is that I'm experiencing this illness.-It doesn't matter that it got started, because it's reversing it'scourse right now.-It's natural that it would take some time for my body to begin toalign to my improved thoughts of well being.-There's no hurry about any of this.-My body knows what to do.-Well-Being is natural to me.-My inner being is intricately aware of my physical body.-My cells are asking for what they need in order to thrive, and SourceEnergy is answering those reque ...

Healing begins in the brain
2007-08-29 14:00:00
Go for good brain wavesA good bit of the challenge of fibromyalgia is to feel and think positive when bogged down with a myriad of symptoms including pain. The more training one can do to get the brain working for you instead of against you the faster healing can occur. This falls under the category of "New Psychology." Rather than the old paradigm where you rehash your life and problems in order to understand where your pain comes from, new psychology is more about deciding what conscious and subconscious thoughts and beliefs you prefer, and asking the therapist to help you retrain your mind.I've written a a little bit about the tool of hypnotherapy when working with your thoughts, your beliefs, and your emotions. Now I want to address biofeedback and the brain. This is a very exciting avenue with potential to help an individual change patterns in the brainwaves which have contributed to symptoms. Neurotherapy, a form of biofeedback, can alter brainwave patterns resulting in behavior ...

Heal Pain

The following is the inspiring true autobiographical story of absolute healing using the tools I blog about. Thanks to Jennifer Mannion over at the Healing Pain Naturally blog for taking the time to share her success! And please check out her blog! Thanks Deb for having me write. I have been pain free from Fibromyalgia, Benign Hypermobility Syndrome and Chronic Mono for 8 months now. I was ill for 6 years on and off and in constant chronic pain for the last 2 until December. I am a 38 year old mom of 2 young children. I was told by several doctors that the illnesses I had were incurable and that I could just learn to manage my pain. I accepted this and went on to join forums, read all I could about my illnesses on-line and in books and I tried to come to terms with the fact that every morning would be a chore to get out of bed. Being the perfectionist I always was -- it was not sitting easily with me. I was a stay at home mom but taking care of the kids, house, hubby and maintaining my ...

Body of emotion
2007-08-26 08:45:00
More information from Dr. Candace PertPart 1 herePeptide receptors, which are in the organs, endocrine muscle, and other body tissues, store emotional information received from the peptides. Therefore, emotional memories can be stored not only in the brain, but also in many places in the body. That would explain, for example, why people have "gut feelings" or why memories and emotions sometimes pop up during massage or acupuncture--because emotional memories "live" in the body's tissues, Pert says. The discovery of peptides and peptide receptors offered, for the first time, tangible evidence of the actual physical exchange between mind and body and the biochemical basis of emotion--and confirmed what Eastern healers have long known intuitively. Also, while peptides and their receptors are located throughout the body, they're concentrated in the places that correspond to the chakras, the seven areas around the spine where, according to Eastern medicine, energy is gathered and then dist ...

Remission
2007-08-25 08:00:00
What are your thoughts telling you?My new friend over at the Fibromyalgia Journal has been writing for the last few days about remission . In one of her posts about remission, she says, "I'm afraid to jinx it by doing too much." The question seems to be, when you're in remission, do you go for the gusto while it lasts, or take it easy so it lasts? In other words, it sounds like she's saying "Its not going to last, but what can I do to make it last as long as possible."Well, I don't know if I'm going to exactly be able to address that dilemma. If you read my blog, you know I write a lot about positive thought as thoughts become things. So in my humble opinion, her thought (fear) about remission is a creation she's working on. I would want her to work on thoughts of gratitude for her present status. Thoughts of appreciation and joy. Writing them, saying them, and especially working on feeling the emotions that appreciation and joy naturally induce. I would want her to visualize her ...

Energy Medicine
2007-08-24 07:37:00
Healing Spirit, energy medicine, and the power of the mind to heal"Explore how invisible energies shape the way you feel, the way you think, and the way you live. Marshal these energies for your health and well-being. In energy medicine, energy is the medicine. And in energy medicine this energy is applied to the body's energies. Energy heals, and energy systems are healed." Donna Eden, from the book Energy MedicineIn this book, Ms. Eden outlines a technique which tells the brain to turn off the pain for people suffering from fibromyalgia. It takes 2-3 minutes to complete. But more importantly, this book can get us back in touch with our own innate ability to heal ourselves. Need a way to believe we have an energy body? Think about phantom pain, the pain an amputee feels in his "arm" after it has been removed. Visualize that imaginary arm and the pain in it. Use that visual to help you see your own energy body as separate from but also part of your physical body. That is what you will ...
