Fashion Post: Becoming A Role Model 2008-01-05 01:31:00 The latest celebrity fashion trend doesn’t seem to be an item of clothing or accessory – it’s a good reputation!Celebrities often come under fire for bad behavior, but mid-2007 Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) found herself the subject of an internet hoax claiming that the young star was pregnant. The truth was brought to light ASAP, and soon after, Miley expressed how important it was to her to become a positive role model in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. She made a statement expressing her interest in wearing clothing that “girls would want to look up to”, effectively suggesting that clothes make the role model. Miley Cyrus took a bad situation and turned it around for her, and also endorsed a trend by embracing her status as a role model. I find the best way to keep my body in shape is by avoiding a regular 'workout' routine – I like to keep my body guessing! I am fortunate to have an exercise bike and treadmill here at home, so I jump on those spontaneously throughout the week. Aside from that, I take my kids to the park to kick or throw a ball around or play a game of tag, but the biggest factor in keeping my body in shape is something that I do behind closed doors.
