3.02 "Fire/Water" Summary...
2007-09-10 07:46:00
After Michael gets bad news from Linc, he sets out to find a prisoner named Whistler (Chris Vance), who holds the key to his freedom. That's easier said than done: Whistler is hiding in Sona because there's a price on his head, and Lechero (Robert Wisdom) is not about to help Michael find him. In addition, both Mahone and Bellick want to get to Whistler too. Meanwhile, T-Bag won't allow a little humiliation stop him from insinuating himself into Lechero's good graces. Source: SpoilerTV ...

Interview with Wentworth Miller
2007-09-10 07:43:00
Q. Have you been working on any recent projects other than the show "Prison Break" that fans will get to see you featured in?A. There seems to be a rather dated expectation in this business that every TV actor is dying to make the jump to the big screen. That might be true for some, but not me. Would it be nice to make a movie here and there? Yes. Do I have plans to become the next Matt Damon? No. If "Prison Break" ends and I go on to spend the rest of my career playing small parts in interesting, left-of-center movies, I'll count myself lucky. Or I could easily wind up on another TV show. That would make me happy too. But I think I'd opt for a supporting part next time. Being one of the leads on a one-hour drama has been an incredible experience, but it's also been extremely challenging. I'm pleased to be part of a story that's given pleasure to so many people across the world, but I won't be sorry when it comes to an end. I'll be excited to begin that next chapter, whatever ...

Cult Spy Icons: Brad Bellick from 'Prison Break'
2007-09-10 07:42:00
By Tony Delgado Taking Schadenfreude to a new level, we simply love Prison Break’s Brad Bellick here at Cult Spy because he’s one of life’s great losers – always destined to fail in hilarious circumstances. With his stocky figure and animalistic bulldog face, Bellick was initially seen as the power-abusing Captain at Fox River State Penitentiary, home to Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows. He wallowed in the power he was given over inmates and was prone to some serious corruption. But there’s a reason Bellick’s time on the show was extended into the outside world once the action moved away from the prison – his hapless suffering is a joy to behold! Just witness how he’s set up by T-Bag at the end of the second season for the murder of a hooker, followed by a couple of bullets to the leg and then off to the slammer. The bewildered looks on his face when he’s stitched up are always great fun, in a similar vein to cartoon villains like Dic ...

Prison Break Season 3 Said to be "best Yet"
2007-09-09 11:55:00
Author: Groshan FabiolaWith the highly anticipated return of the phenomenally successful, Prison Break, on FOX next month, fans and critics alike are wondering just how well the third season of the series can possibly stack up to the monumental triumph of the first two installments. According to Dominic Purcell, who plays the lead character Lincoln Burrows, the upcoming offering promises to be even better. "I've seen some cut-together stuff and it's really impressive," Purcell revealed in an interview with TV Guide. “When you see it, you'll understand what I'm saying." E! Online provides several major details to watch out for, when Prison Break resumes in September. First off, the series will revisit its original winning formula revolving around key characters struggling with their incarceration. More on Sara's leave...
2007-09-09 03:44:00
The 30-year-old actress, who plays Dr. Sara Tancredi, was reportedly on maternity leave but apparently that’s not the case! This doesn’t make much sense creatively for the show as Prison Break spent two years building her relationship with Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), but we’ll see how the writers spin this one. Who’s going to be Michael’s new love interest this season???Back in January, it was announced that Callies would be expecting her first child, with husband Josh Winterhalt, in late summer. No news about the birth has officially been announced yet but the baby is reportedly a girl.A publicist for FOX just issued a statement exclusively to JustJared.com: “Actually – the network and studio has not confirmed that Sarah Wayne Callies has departed the series this season. Dr. Sara Tancredi plays a significant part in the storyline this year.” So the question still remains — will Callies return as Dr. Tancredi?Source: SpoilerTV ...

Will 'Prison Break' Star Return This Season?
2007-09-08 15:16:00
A lot of blood has been spilled since the first season of Prison Break on FOX. Many major characters have not been able to survive the prison, the police, and the secret agents. BuddyTV has learned that a major character from Prison Break will not be returning this season after fans were assured that she would. According to TV Guide today, Sarah Wayne Callies will not be returning to the show after having given birth. It's reported that her character, Sara Tancredi, will be shown only in shadow and her voice only heard through recorded voiceovers. It seems inevitable, therefore, that she will be killed off early on to end her storyline.FOX was quick to dispel the rumors started by TV Guide, releasing a statement to the entertainment website, JustJared.com today stating, “Actually – the network and studio has not confirmed that Sarah Wayne Callies has departed the series this season. Dr. Sara Tancredi plays a significant part in the storyline this year.” Is FOX just stallin ...

Wentworth Miller Ponders a Five-year Prison Stay
2007-09-07 14:51:00
Echoing what Dominic Purcell a few weeks ago, Wentworth Miller says that Prison Break's upcoming season crackles in a way not seen since the Fox series' early days. "I can honestly say that the episodes we just shot are among the best so far," he tells TVGuide.com. "It's just as intense and gritty and claustrophobic as the first season, except this time we don't have to lay out all of the backstory, which means we can hit the ground running."Miller says the new season finds "Michael and Lincoln trying to survive as pawns in a very large and very deadly game of chess" — a face-off that could last longer than anyone suspected back when a show about a prison escape first hit the tube. "As far as this thing continuing on nine or 10 seasons like a Friends or a CSI, I'm not sure we'll go that far," he said during a conference call with reporters. "But I do think we have at least another two or three seasons in us." Source: TvGuide.com ...

The Truth Is Out — and So Is Prison Break's Doc!
2007-09-07 14:49:00
Sarah Wayne Callies by Kevin Parry/WireImage.com OK, now you worrywarts have something to wring your hands about: The Ausiello Report has just learned that after giving birth, Sarah Wayne Callies is not returning to Prison Break after all.Shocking, right? Especially given the way the actress' manager has been insisting for weeks that her client would be back. (The words "pants on fire" come to mind.)We already knew that Callies was MIA from the opening credits in the first two episodes and that, for the one scene in which Dr. Sara appeared, a body double was used. But nonetheless, trusting souls that we are, we believed the mom-to-be still had a job. Well, no more. There's a story here, and you're gonna get it.Um, as soon as we do.In the meantime, feel free to work out your grief over this turn of events through cybersupport groups, viewing parties of key scenes from past seasons and especially tear-stained blog posts. Also, any guesses as to the "creative" way insiders are say ...
