Age of Love: Episode 3 ?Altogether Now? Preview 2007-07-02 10:00:36 Tonight on Age of Love we’ll continue our journey with Mark Philippoussis, 30, as he tries to discover if age really matters when it comes to love. Last week we finally got to really meet the Kittens and realized how incredibly boring and catty they were. I’m hoping for their sakes’ that it was all just creative editing on the producers part, because if it wasn’t then, “yikes!” So far what we’ve learned from our insight into Mark’s mind is that he’s been very impressed with the Cougars’ personalities while the Kittens’ bodies are definitely giving him second thoughts on taking the “older road”. You could notice a visibly different reaction to each bikini-clad Kitten he met by the pool last week as compared to the first week when he was stunned by the age-enhanced (now that was the most PC thing I’ve ever said!) Hell?s Kitchen Preview: Season 3 Episode 5 - 7/2/07 2007-07-02 09:00:29 Last week both teams did so bad Chef Ramsey decided that neither team won and asked the each team nominate one of their chefs. When Josh and Melissa turned out to be the nominees, Chef Ramsey over ruled the teams and selected Vinnie and Bonnie himself to go up on the chopping block. Vinnie had to hand in his chef’s jacket and leave the kitchen. The writing is on the wall for Bonnie though. Chef Ramsey obviously has her in his sights. She will have to be perfect tonight to save herself unless its already too late for her. She doesn’t seem to have too much confidence in herself though so I suspect we may be seeing the last of Bonnie tonight. Tonight the teams will be preparing dinner for a wedding reception. It should be a good one. Chef Ramsey throws one of the chefs out of the kitchen for nearly killing someone and later yells, ?I don?t think I have ever been so embarrassed in my entire life!? Criss Angel?s Wife Mindfreaks Out Over Cameron Diaz 2007-07-02 08:00:08 Poor Cameron Diaz. If it’s not insulting an entire South American region, it’s another thing. This week Cameron Diaz should be thoroughly embarrased to learn that her new boyfriend, illusionist Criss Angel of “Mindfreak”, is already married. Diaz and Angel have been dating since being introduced in Las Vegas a few months ago. However, Angel has actually been married for about the past five years according to a divorce lawsuit filed in New York by Joanne Sarantakos, his understandably upset wife, allegedly. Saranktakos is claiming Angel requested to keep their relationship a secret as to not ward off female fans. Looks like it worked too well as Diaz was apparently “enraptured” by Angel’s tricks when they first met. That reminds me of how I escaped from Cameron Diaz when she cornered me in a club. Weekend Movie Box Office Earnings Round-up: June 29 - July 1, 2007 2007-07-01 15:03:31 It was another big blockbuster weekend for movie earnings as the audiences really turned out for these movie offerings. I wasn’t surprised at all to see how well Live Free or Die Hard (read our review) performed as it was an awesome action movie and totally lived up to the Die Hard franchise’s history (well, not counting #2, of course). While it took second place over the weekend it did make an additional $15 million in the first two days of its release (Wednesday and Thursday) which aren’t included in the numbers below, so it’s really at $48.1M already. Ratatouille surprised me with how well it did, earning the top spot with $47.2 million over the weekend. Not too bad, but not outlandish for a PIXAR film either. Evan Almighty slipped lower to #3 with a mere $15M in box office earnings. They’re still pretty far off from breaking even on that one (just need about another $200M!). Monday: Cameron Diaz displayed her insensitive side on a trip to Peru where she sported the slogan of a communist regime that killed and terrorized thousands in the region. Tuesday: Thank goodness! Rosie won’t be taking over for the Price is Right after all despite her strong initial interest. Wednesday: Tom Cruise was denied entrance to German military bases for filming due to his Scientology connections. The German government already folded in on this one though. Ah well. Nicole Kidman?s New Nintendo Commercial 2007-06-29 08:00:01 The voiceover doesn’t sound terribly American to me so I don’t think this will be seen on TV in the U.S., but either way Nicole Kidman is popping up in a new Nintendo DS commercial for Brain Age. Pirate Master Recap - (Episode 5) 6/28/07 2007-06-28 21:25:15 Time to shove off for another adventure with the crew from Pirate Master. To start the show Nessa called Sean a two-faced liar (but come on isn’t that what being a pirate is all about! Arrgh!)for continually promising to vote one way and then voting another. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: Series Finale Tonight 2007-06-28 14:00:47 Sadly, tonight the finale episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip will be airing on NBC. I enjoyed this show from start to finish and was very disappointed to hear it was canceled over its low ratings (um, Friday Night Lights anyone?). Coming Soon: 30 Days of Night - Trailer & Details 2007-06-28 12:00:29 Well there must be a vampire theme going on here at Wild Bluff Media because once again we’re taking a look ahead at another Vamp movie making it’s way down the pipe. While it doesn’t look as good to me as last week’s I Am Legend 30 Days of Night, starring Josh Hartnett and Melissa George, will probably still have plenty of cool action and excitement to offer. The story is going to follow a small group of people that stay behind in an Alaskan town once the Sun goes does for an entire month. Suddenly a whole lot of vampires show up ready dine buffet style as this is the perfect chance for them. The cool idea here is there isn’t the whole “we’ve just gotta make it till morning” option. Instead everyone is posed with “we’ve just gotta make it for 4 weeks!” Now that’s some tough stuff right there.
