Big Brother 8: Daniele Can Has Cheezburger?
2007-07-18 11:00:52
Daniele has started to steal the spotlight on Big Brother 8 with her constant trips to the Diary Room and budding/not-budding relationship with the man-child Nick. Unfortunately, Daniele had a bit of bad luck on Sunday when her team lost the food competition, again. The issue of food and Daniele here is nothing ground breaking as Dick raised his concerns to her in the second episode regarding her weight. Then there was Eric’s America’s Player task of pretending to be upset over Daniele’s slim figure. We’ve even heard Daniele admit the slop is a bad idea for her as she isn’t eating it. Grrr-reat idea BB. So when I saw a screen capture of Daniele hanging around in her bikini I had one idea (just one, cause I don’t want to hurt myself, see?). Yesterday, during a conversation with Kail, Daniele came to the realization that she is, in fact, allowed to eat food. “I Can Has Cheezburger?” To which Kail responded, “oh yes, you c ...
Indiana Jones 4: Harrison Ford Doing His Own Stunts In Hawaii
2007-07-18 10:00:17
Last week we got our first look at Harrison Ford on the set with the short video released by Spielberg and gang. This week there’s more news of Indiana Jones out in Hawaii where they’re doing location shooting. Turns out that Harrison Ford has been doing a lot of his own stunts according to The Honolulu Advertiser: Executive producer Kathleen Kennedy said yesterday the 65-year-old Ford still handles his own leaps and falls during filming. “He’s doing them, he just has a few more ice packs and a few more massages,” she said. That guy is crazy! He’s 65 years old and he doesn’t seem to know it. Maybe it’s all the beautiful scenery that’s got his mind muddled. Thankfully we’ll get to see lots of Hawaii too as the executives say that roughly 20% of the movie will be shot out there on the islands. The setting won’t be Hawaii though. Instead the filming is taking place there in lieu of a South American rainforest. ...

2007-07-18 08:00:42
E3 2007 wrapped up last week, but the MTV News video below will provide you with the highlights from the 3 major contributors: Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. Microsoft spent most of their time hyping their September release of Halo 3. Sony revealed their new PSP with the help of Chewbacca for some reason. Finally, Nintendo came out and talked about their new controllers which will include a steering wheel and a zap-gun. Duck Hunt, anyone? If you missed it last week, check out Call of Duty 4’s E3 trailer as well. Feed Readers: click here to view the video ...

Pirate Master Recap - (Episode 8) 7/17/07
2007-07-17 22:15:19
Nessa was really upset when Joe Don was cut adrift last week. Jay was really angry with Kendra because she gave her word that she would vote for Joe Don and went back on her word casting her vote for Louie instead. Jay called her on it in front of the whole crew. Kendra is now in danger again and a die hard enemy of the Triad. The Zanzibar Chest After opening the Zanzibar Chest, Chris Daddo gave a dramatic whistle and all of the crew members who were cast adrift boarded over the starboard rail. The pirates were the black crew, and the ghosts were the red crew. Which ever crew won got to keep the treasure. If the ghost pirates won they would not only get to keep the treasure but they would decide who received the blakk spots this week and there would be no captain until the next expedition. The triad was definitely worried. They had good reason to be worried too. The ghost crew were out for revenge and frankly many of their fellow black crew mates would be just as happy if they lost. ...

Big Brother 8: Week 2 Power of Veto Recap - July 17, 2007
2007-07-17 22:07:16
Foreword: Big Brother Season 8 is now in full swing and to avoid missing any current details you’ll want to check out the online, uncensored live feeds (14 day free trial) and see what is going on right now. Tonight on Big Brother 8 we return to the adventure known as the Jenius of Jenuine Jen (I had to grit my teeth to type that one out). As disgusted as I was to see Jen win last week I knew she would unlock a lot drama for us and sure enough she did. From the Big Brother drinking game (which we were one step ahead on) to her pillow talk scene with Dick (is this guy in danger, or what?) it’s been a barrel of laughs, mostly at Jen’s expense. I can’t imagine we’ll get anything less than that tonight either as we pick back up with the Power of Veto competition and possible replacement nominations. The show opens with Jen rationalizing her nominations from the Diary Room. I’d have to agree with most the rest of the guests that it was a load of ...
Big Brother 8: Is Dick A Dead Man Walking?
2007-07-17 11:00:25
Spoiler Free Zone ahead: We may know what’s going on with the live feeds, but for now we’ll keep this discussion to our broadcast show speculations. Sunday on Big Brother 8 we witnessed the Jenius and Jenuine Jen announce her not so surprising nominations of Dick and Daniele. Dick and Jen have had anything but a friendly relationship so far in this game and so putting him up along with someone he wouldn’t campaign against seems like a sure fire plan. So does Dick have any chances of survival this week, or is he a dead man walking? Forgetting all about the Power of Veto competition coming up tonight and just looking at votes split between these nominees Dick is already in a bad spot. While he’s certainly been entertaining for America I don’t think he’ll have the same pull inside the house. He’s a 40+ yr old Tommy Lee versus a 20 yr old Barbie. Those most likely to vote for him to stay (Zach and Mike) will be overruled by Nick’s ...
Trump?s The Apprentice to Return? with Rosie?
2007-07-17 10:00:13
In what came as surprise news in the reality TV world to me, The Donald’s waning series, The Apprentice, will be returning next season after all. This will be the seventh season and looks to renew its audience with a “celebrity edition.” So what celebrity needs a job these days and would be the perfect target for The Donald’s patented execution move? Why that’s right, Rosie O’Donnell. The Donald feels The Rosie would be a great addition to his returning series’ special edition as he told People: “If Rosie would like to do it, she would be treated very fairly,” Trump tells PEOPLE. “Don’t forget her show got the highest ratings in December and January when she and I went at it. So I think it would be very good for Rosie. And she would be treated very fairly.” When informed the show would not provide an all-you-can-eat Belgian waffle breakfast bar Rosie had her rep Cindi Berger respond, “It will not ...
Pirate Master Preview - (Episode 8) 7/17/07
2007-07-17 09:00:53
Yo ho mates! Pirate Master time again. During last week’s voyage, the strongest competitor not already an officer was cast adrift. With the win of their third treasure in a row the triad of Azmyth, Jay and Ben finally cornered Joe Don and sent him home. This was probably the most significant pirate court yet this season. You would think that the loss of Joe Don would really help to consolidate Azmyth’s position, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. On tonight’s voyage, it seems the crew is seriously considering mutiny for the first time this season. In the previews, even Jay said he would definitely mutiny given the chance. Looking back I think Jay is speaking hypothetically not that he would vote out Captain Azmyth. Tonight the crew also faces the ghosts of their past. I’m not sure what this means though. I guess we’ll find out in a few hours. Last week’s cast away: Joe Don Check out the rest of our Pirate Master coverage. SirLin ...

Big Brother 8: Week 2 Power of Veto Preview - July 17, 2007
2007-07-17 09:00:30
Spoiler Free Zone ahead: We may know what’s going on with the live feeds, but for now we’ll keep this from ruining any broadcast surprises. Sunday night, Jen nominated Evil Dick and Danielle for eviction. Before the show started my guess was that Jen would nominate Danielle because she was jealous of her relationship with Nick and Dick because he told her off on Sunday night. I just picked the wrong end of the Nick-Danielle relationship. She went after Danielle instead of Nick. I wonder if Dick wins the POV if he would give it to Danielle. That would be a cool thing for him to do. I hope whoever wins PoV tonight uses it to rescue one of them. That is too interesting and awkward a relationship to end so early in the season. I want to see whose bed Eric is going to have to climb into tonight as part of the America’s Player angle. Jen was my first choice but as HoH she’s safe. I thought of Joe next, but he might like it. I cast my votes for Jessica. ...

Hell?s Kitchen Recap and Review: Season 3 Episode 7 - 7/16/07
2007-07-16 21:30:41
Challenge This week’s challenge was the Left Overs Test. Each team had 30 minutes to create 3 dishes, one appetizers and 2 main dishes, from a tray of left overs. Chef Ramsay said this was a test he gave to everyone who worked for him. The blue team moved out quickly but red team could not figure out what to do even half way through the challenge. Brad’s Curried Bass vs. Bonnie’s Rustic Chicken Soup - Chef Ramsey declares this a draw. Jen’s Steak and Eggs vs. Josh’s Stuffed Chicken - No winner, Chef Ramsey was disappointed in both dishes Rock’s Surf and Turf v. Julia’s Fish and Chips - He liked the fish and chips but it was just fish and chips Blue Team wins. The ladies got to give Hell’s Kitchen a spring cleaning and then unload the deliveries. Bonnie was in charge of checking the order they unloaded. The order was all wrong. The turbot was not the filets, just the skeletons, the snapper and butter was wrong, etc. I would bet ...
Age of Love: Episode 5 Recap - July 16, 2007
2007-07-16 21:11:00
Tonight, in the fifth episode of Age of Love, NBC’s new Reality TV show, Mark Philippoussis, 30, will continue his quest for romance as he dates two different groups of women. The first group, Cougars, which are our “older women” with ages ranging from 39 to 48. The second group of women, Kittens, which we met last week are our younger women and range in age from 21 to 27 years old. With Mark caught somewhere in between it’ll be an interesting season to see who he picks and if he can answer, “Does age matter?” Jumping right into things bachelor Mark is greeted by host Mark who looks like he just jogged over. Mark learns that his first date for this episode will be a beach date where he’ll take three girls surfing. Based on what the producers tell him what Mark wants he decides to invite Maria, Megan, and Bloody Mary. The group rides out to the beach “in Mark’s Woody” which Maria enjoys repeating and enjoys a beaut ...
Don?t Miss TV: July 16 - 20, 2007
2007-07-16 12:00:09
It’s another week of television shows coming at you and we’re here to help. Here’s a break down by night of what you need to be sure to catch and what’s going on this week, July 16 - 20, 2007. Lots of reality TV again this week along with a few series running through the summer. This week the big reality TV bomb drops for me with the start of the eighth season of Big Brother. Oh yes, Big Brother 8 is now in full swing with shows 3 nights a week. Awesome. I’ve really been enjoying Age of Love, Pirate Master, and Hell’s Kitchen. Take a look and see what shows you don’t want to miss this week. Monday: Age of Love: 9-10pm on NBC; Mark takes a group of three surfing and then watches movies with a different set of women. Later, Mark takes a date to a biker bar to play pool. Check out the rest of our Age of Love coverage. Hell’s Kitchen: 8-9pm on Fox; Melissa joins the men’s team as it vies with the women to see which tea ...
Age of Love: Episode 5 Preview - July 16, 2007
2007-07-16 10:00:11
Tonight on Age of Love we’ll continue our journey with Mark Philippoussis, 30, as he tries to discover if age really matters when it comes to love. Last week Mark had to make a few more down selects in his search for love as he sent home Kelli the Cougar and Tessa the Kitten. Clearly it was not the week for blonds. That leaves us with just six ladies to cheer on this week. I’m still hoping for a Cougar to win this, but as things continue Mark appears to be leaning towards the younger Kittens instead. Let’s see if his romance with Amanda keeps moving on in the direction it has been as she looks to be in the overall lead. This week there are three dates up for grabs. With only six ladies left Mark will take half of them surfing and then later the other half will get to enjoy a movie with him. Well that’s a crappy date if you’re trying to get to know someone. Clearly the surfing date is the one each lady will likely want to be on as they’ ...
Hell?s Kitchen Preview: Season 3 Episode 7 - 7/16/07
2007-07-16 09:00:29
Last week the blue team stunk it up, literally. After losing the challenge they had to go through all of the trash from the kitchen and sort the recyclables (Mmmm, that’s nice). The girls, minus Melissa, won a photo shoot with In Touch magazine. Dinner service was a complete disaster for the blue team. No surprise Chef Ramsay sent Melissa packing but Brad and Josh were also called out by the Chef. They are being their last chance so they better not blow it tonight. On tonight’s episode, the chefs compete in a paint ball challenge. I still have no clue what this has to do with being a chef though. It also looks like both teams have trouble in the kitchen during the dinner service. This is probably not good for the blue tem as Chef Ramsay has both Josh and Brad in his sights. Frankly Julia and Bonnie have also had their run ins with Chef Ramsay as well. The safe bet looks like it will be Rock and Jen to be the finally two. Check out the rest of our Hell’s Kitch ...
