Don’t miss our giveaways for the new TV series “Tin Man”: click here for details With the return of the fall season comes our Don’t Miss TV guide as well following its summer vacation. Lots of new shows to take in but we’ll likely know quickly which ones are worth following and which ones will get dumped by the networks. While everyone here at Wild Bluff Media tries to watch as much as possible we don’t see them all, so share your opinions on what’s good and what’s not. Take a look and see what shows you don’t want to miss this week with our WBM TV guide. Monday: Dancing with the Stars: 8-9:30pm on ABC; The fourth round of competitions launch tonight and includes the paso doble and the Viennese waltz. The Bachelor 11 Week 4: Preview
2007-10-15 10:00:48
Don’t miss our giveaways for the new TV series “Tin Man”: click here for details Once again Brad had to send home three girls last week, leaving only nine lovely ladies left to choose from. In this case two of them were sent packing because they failed the test of the twins. They were not able to tell Brad apart from his twin which to Brad meant that they weren’t in it for him. Not sure I buy that train of thought but it works for Brad and caused Sarah and Lindsey to not receive a rose. Solisa did her self in through her over the top behavior, streaking into the ocean and giving Brad a lap dance during a group date. Brad seems to be looking for wild and crazy but not cheap and slutty. Tonight, Brad and the girls have fun performing at the Improv. That is, until Kristy breaks down into tears. Brad goes on a date with Jade and DeAnna. These two girls hate each other and now they have to compete head to head for the one rose Brad has to give out on th ...
Dancing With The Stars 5 Week 4 Performance Preview
2007-10-15 09:00:34
Don’t miss our giveaways for the new TV series “Tin Man”: click here for details Tonight, Dancing With The Star’s host Samantha Harris returns from maternity leave. Drew Lachey did a great job in her absense but it will be nice to see Samantha back. Samantha isn’t the only celebrities who will need to make a comeback tonight. Mark & Kym have had two of the lowest judges scores for weeks. They will obviously be trying to step it up. It just a question of whether Mark can do it. They seem to have enough of a fan following that even a mid-range score from the judges should be enough to keep them safe again. The couple who really needs to make a comeback tonight is Floyd & Karina. They had a pretty low score last week, and ended up in the bottom two. If they don’t come up big tonight they could be the couple going home tomorrow night. The other couple who I expect to have put in a lot of extra practice over the past week is Helio & Julia ...
Giveaway: Win T-Shirts for Sci Fi Channel’s New Series “Tin Man”
2007-10-15 08:00:55
The Sci Fi Channel is about to launch a re-imagining of L. Frank Baum’s classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz as a new series “Tin Man” this December 2nd. While all your critical components will remain in some fashion it looks like everyone is getting a workover to meet a much darker perspective of what’s on the other side of that tornado. This time around Dorothy goes by “DG”, the Oz is now the “Outer Zone (O.Z.)”, and the yellow brick road is called the “brick route”. It’s interesting to see how they’ve brought Neal McDonough’s character, Cain or “Tin Man”, to the front of the casting through the title and marketing presence. While he’s obviously not made of tin this time around his name is earned by his previous imprisonment in a metal casing where he was forced to watch the abduction of his wife and child looping endlessly. It looks like they’ve made a pretty creative appro ...
Weekend Movie Box Office Earnings: October 12 - 14, 2007
2007-10-14 13:52:39
While I’m not surprised that “Why Did I Get Married” did well this week I’m certainly surprised that it beat out George Clooney’s “Michael Clayton” and Wahlberg and Phoenix’s “We Own the Night”. Perry’s romantic dramedy took the top spot with $21.5 million, doubling what Clayton and Night each pulled in, $11.01M & $11.0M respectively. The other new film, “Elizabeth: The Golden Age”, came in at #6 with just $6.1M which is likely disappointing to the studio that put out this sequel to the highly acclaimed prequel. Tell us what you thought of the movie offerings this week in the Comments below. Here they are, your box office movie earnings for this weekend: October 12 - 14, 2007. If you missed any of the background on the new releases check out our Weekend Movie Preview with trailers and details. 2007-10-13 12:00:17
Here are your entertainment news highlights from this past week: October 8 - 12, 2007 Monday: Pam Anderson got married, again. Oh the magic of love infatuation alcohol. Tuesday: The Goonies is closer than ever to returning. But what’s this about it being done in CGI?? Wednesday: Kiefer Sutherland and Michelle Rodriguez are both set to do a little jail appearance. “Little” because I’m expecting those months to melt away into minutes. Thursday: After piracy leaks of Britney’s new album, Blackout, her label has decided to release her album two weeks early. This greatly reduces my planning time for Armageddon. Friday: Enjoying the new season of TV shows? Get your fill of these 5 newcomers which look destined for cancellation. Once again, a lot happened this week. Next week try to stay hip and popular by visiting Wild Bluff Media each day so you don’t miss anything else along the way. You can even subscribe to our feeds by email or subscribe to ...

Weekend Humor: NGC Dangerous Encounters’ Python Attack
2007-10-13 10:00:09
Okay, so maybe this isn’t hilarious, but the irony of the situation wasn’t wasted on me. Brady Barr, the lead guy for National Geographic Channel’s Dangerous Encounters (w/ Brady Barr, of course), goes exploring through this cave with Dr. Mark Auliya, a python expert, and while Mark is the one dangerously pursuing a massive python it’s Barr that ends up with the punishment. The whole thing reminds me of Steve Irwin, so if you enjoyed his shows then this might be right up your alley (This week it’ll be Sunday at 10pm, but from then on it’ll be Saturdays at 8pm on NGC). If not, you can at least enjoy the video below. Barr gives a recap of what went on in the cave as well over at NationalGeographic.com Feed Readers: click here to view the video Audio Video: Find product details and reviews for LCDs, Plasma TVs, stereo equipment, and more. ---Related Articles at Wild Bluff Media : Entertainment Examined:Weekend Humor: MacGruber Has a Drink - Vide ...

Dancing With The Stars: Karina Smirnoff Pics
2007-10-12 09:00:08
Season 5 is Karina Smirnoff’s third season as one of Dancing With the Stars professional dancers. This season she is paired with “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather six-time world champion boxer. She and Floyd have gotten off to a bit of a rocky start but there is a still a chance for them to turn things around. Last season, Karina’s partner was country singer and father to Hannah Montana, Billy Ray Cyrus. This was unfortunate for Karina because while Billy Ray was a fan favorite he just couldn’t dance. During Season 3, her first season on DWTS, Karina developed a relationship with her celebrity partner Mario Lopez. This couple is still going strong off the stage and so you will see Mario appear in quite a few of these photos. Looking for pictures of Julianne Hough or Kym Johnson? Keep checking back at WildBluffMedia.com for all of your Dancing with the Stars needs. Better yet, subscribe to our feeds by email or ...
Fall TV Newcomers, Don’t Blink Or You Might Miss These 5 Shows
2007-10-12 08:00:29
Well the 2007 Fall TV season may have just started a few weeks ago but the age old tradition of killing the weak and promoting the strong. So far there have been a few pleasant surprises and several let downs. Chuck has definitely turned out to be one of the pluses this time around. The characters are easy to like and the story is light enough that if you miss a week you don’t feel lost for the rest of the season. On the downside, Journeyman turned out to be just as bad as I thought it might. Surprisingly Bionic Woman hasn’t been that good. I watched the first two episodes and I didn’t feel pulled in by any of the characters. The missions weren’t all that great either. Ah well, I guess the next Alias was a lot to hope for. So which of these will survive and which are about to meet their demise? Yahoo TV is predicting the following five new series won’t make it through to the new year: Nashville: the only show to be pulled from the schedule s ...
Coming Soon: Midnight Meat Train - Trailer & Details
2007-10-11 12:00:23
Ready for some more horror? Clive Barker, a master of the genre, has a new horror/thriller heading towards the theaters next year with “Midnight Meat Train.” Yeah, sounds more like a dirty movie, but instead it’s pretty much what the title says. A photographer, played by Bradley Cooper (Alias, Wedding Crashers) stalks a serial killer who finds his victims on the subway, probably around midnight. I usually enjoy these horror movies that are more of thrillers than just plain teen slashers. Hopefully this one will be good. Midnight Meat Train - Details: Release Date: 2008 Genre: Horror / Thriller Starring: Bradley Cooper, Vinnie Jones, Leslie Bibb, Brooke Shields Director: Ryuhei Kitamura Expected Rating: R Midnight Meat Train - Plot: A photographer propelled to explore his dark side begins tracking a subway serial killer whose brutal butchery makes for the most nightmarish images ever captured on camera in director Ryuhei Kitamura’s adaptation of a shor ...

Britney Spears Is About To Blackout Early
2007-10-11 08:00:07
Following weeks of leaked tracks from Britney “Trainwreck” Spears’ new album, Blackout, her label has decided to release it 2 weeks early to thwart piracy. So now all three of you awaiting her album can be sure to line up on October 16th instead. Somehow the near-Halloween date just seemed more fitting. People.com says: “Due to these numerous unauthorized online leaks, the label is doing everything possible to prevent and avoid any further illegal distribution of songs including moving up the release date of the album to Oct. 30,” a rep for Jive Records says in a statement. The label acknowledged that finished songs, as well as unfinished material and demos, had made their way online. For weeks, Britney tracks have been surfacing everywhere from PerezHilton.com to YouTube, though it’s been unclear which versions were the final, mastered tracks. Hold up there Jive Records. Once you release the album you’ll completely lose the excuse o ...

Jailhouse Roll Call Update: Kiefer Pleads; Rodriguez Gets More
2007-10-10 20:49:37
Fame and fortune doesn’t seem to offer the same protection as it once did. Oh who am I kidding? 4 days turns into 40 minutes in LA, which apparently stands for CandyLand. Here are a couple more Hollywood stars who are facing jail time, which will likely get turned into required attendance at a petting zoo. Kiefer Sutherland plead guilty to a misdemeanor following his DUI bust back in September. His sentencing won’t be up until late December, but he’s already reached a plea agreement. Sutherland will serve 48 days in jail, 30 of those for the DUI charge and another 18 for probation violation. Thankfully for 24 fans he’ll be able to serve his time during the winter hiatus. More details over at E! Online. Michelle Rodriguez didn’t get off so easy. She was sentenced to six months in jail for her violation probation in relation to her DUI arrest. This idiot admitted to consuming alcohol on several occasions while wearing an alcohol monitoring device ...
Jumper Movie Looks To Cash In On Heroes Mania - Trailer
2007-10-10 16:32:03
Doug Liman, fresh off his last piece of poo movie (Mr. and Mrs. Smith), seemingly wants to ride the wave of Heroes with this adaptation of a Steven Gould novel where “jumpers” can transport themselves through space and time. Yeah, it’s from a previously written book, but here you’ve got a guy that jump through space and time (Hiro) and finds out he’s not the only one with special powers (um, all the Heroes) and then he’s chased by an evil entity that wants to track and secure him (The Company). Anyways, you’ve got Hayden Christensen, who still can’t act, teamed up with Samuel L. Jackson, who will do anything but always seems to do it well, in what easily looks to be as entertaining as the last Amanda Bynes movie. However, throw in Rachel Bilson in underwear and you’ve got my attention, just don’t expect my $10. Update: Okay, Liman also did The Bourne Identity, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So what’s with this? The ...
