The Bachelor 11 Week 7: The Final Three Women
2007-11-05 22:24:11
Cabo San Lucas is tonight’s setting for Brad and his final three women, but as always there will be one sad lady as tonight’s show will end with just two roses.
Date #1: Jenni, The Dolphins, & A Room With A View
Brad and Jenni meet up first and head over to swim with the dolphins, which turned out to make Jenni nervous. After a little play time in the water and a few dolphin kisses she relaxes enough to enjoy the date. Once they’re out of the water Brad decides to point blank ask Jenni about her feelings (after giving her a drink first, of course). Jenni skates around it for awhile but comes off slightly reserved as she says she doesn’t want to risk being disappointed. Brad plans to get her to relax and be her regular self so he can see what could really happen between them.
Once night falls Brad and Jenni get back together for dinner and an eventual retreat to his hotel suite. Brad thanks her for being her, which Jenni finds very touching and expl ...

Dancing With The Stars 5 Week 7: Anything Can Happen
2007-11-05 19:00:20
Tonight we pick right back up in the race to crown a new dancing champ and as we learned last week anything can happen along the way. Could this be another shocker week? Will another top pick get bumped? Well that all depends on you, now doesn’t it? Let’s see how they do as each couple will be performing twice (twice means more commercial time for ABC!).
Helio Castroneves & Julianne Hough
Dance: Tango
Len liked their drive and energy but felt their form was poor. Bruno likened them to lightning but reminded them to pay more attention to details. Carrie Ann jumped to the far end and said it was a nice twist on the Tango despite a few balance issues.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 8
Total: 25
Marie Osmond & Jonathon Roberts
Dance: Quickstep
Bruno gives them a standing salute and noted that when Marie gets it right, she gets it right. Carrie Ann thought it was wonderful and was a production quality performance. Len reminded us that enter ...

Christina Aguilera Finally Confirms Obvious Pregnancy
2007-11-05 11:00:13
Four and a half months ago we told you Christina Aguilera was pregnant. Over the weekend Aguilera finally woke up and admitted the pending baby (due in January) in an interview with Glamour magazine, according to the BBC:
Aguilera used an interview with Glamour magazine to say she would “enter into mommyhood” at the start of next year.
She said she wanted to be a working mother, so she could “balance” the needs of her child with her career.
“I want to get it right,” the 26-year-old added.
Her husband, music executive Jordan Bratman, was ecstatic about the prospect of becoming a father, she said.
“He’s thrilled! He’s just great”, Aguilera explained.
“He’s so supportive and amazing through everything. He came with me on the last leg of the tour and he was my support system… I gush. I’m a lucky girl.”
No kidding Bratman is excited at the prospect of becoming a father with Aguilera. That mea ...

The Bachelor 11 Week 7: Preview
2007-11-05 09:00:43
Update: Click here for our recap of tonight’s episode of The Bachelor
Last week was Meet the Parents week on The Bachelor. Brad visited each of the remaining four girls hometowns and got to meet their families. While I really enjoyed the show, I was shocked by the conclusion. The visit with Bettina’s family was a disaster. They don’t like Brad. They don’t like his lifestyle or his means of making a living. They hate the fact that he has not finished college. Oh, and lets not forget that they absolutely loved Bettina’s ex-husband. The best part was at the end of the visit Bettina was defending them and to some extent taking their side. After all that, Brad didn’t send her packing. Instead he sent Sheena home. Now granted her mom was a bit of a space-cadet with her astrological predictions but I would take her as a mother-in-law any day over in-laws who out and out hated me. If Brad does end up with Bettina, it won’t last long. Her family w ...

Dancing With The Stars 5 Week 7 Performance Preview
2007-11-05 08:00:11
Update: Click here for our recap of tonight’s DWTS performance show
To some extent I feel like I’m still recovering from last week’s shocking DWTS results. I still cannot believe that Sabrina & Mark went home. I think everyone, myself included, fully expected that couple to make it all the way to the finals. What this goes to show is no one is safe. No matter how well you have done in the past, if you slip one week, just one week, you could face elimination. Everyone of our couples are going to have to bring their A game every week. Mel & Maks received a 30 last week. If they aren’t close to perfect again, it could be them this week. After Mark Cuban went home I said that the dead wood was gone and it was a whole new competition. I just hadn’t realized just how prophetic that statement was.
All that being said, I still think there are a few couples who are in more danger than the others. Namely, Jane & Tony and Marie & Jonathon. These ...

Shia LaBeouf Loves Walgreens For Low Prices and Drunken Arrests
2007-11-05 07:00:51
When Shia LaBeouf isn’t busy defacing beloved childhood memories it looks like he prefers to spend his late nights stumbling around Walgreens drunk. There were a few different stories on the wire regarding just what happened, but everyone agreed this kid has been in way too many movies this year. E! News reports:
The 21-year-old actor was arrested in Chicago early Sunday morning and charged with misdemeanor trespassing, after refusing to heed security guards’ orders at a Walgreens superstore.
Chicago Police Department spokesperson Joann Taylor said officers were summoned by security at the Walgreens, located along the city’s famed Michigan Avenue, at about 2:25 a.m. after LaBeouf ignored repeated requests to exit the pharmacy. Guards detained him until police arrived.
The Transformers star was taken into custody and booked on one misdemeanor count of trespassing, based on a complaint filed by one of the store’s guards. The actor was released several hours ...

Weekend Humor: Criss Angel Picks A Fight On Phenomenon
2007-11-03 10:00:25
Criss Angel is the co-host on the possibly short lived NBC show Phenomenon. I would have guessed he was there to represent the magicians/mentalists/whatevers, but apparently not. On this week’s show Angel decided he would call out one of the performers as a fake for claiming he had mental powers. Not only that but he also called out his co-host Uri Geller with the same challenge. Considering Geller is to this show as Simon is to American Idol I can’t believe Angel would be so dumb. Apparently he is. So take a watch as Criss Angel tries to pick a fight with someone who does the same genre of tricks as he does. I wish Angel could say something other than, “tell me what’s in the envelope,” three hundred times.
I put this under Humor because I find Criss Angel laughable. Is it just me?

Amy Winehouse Doesn’t Need Lyrics To Sing, Just Booze - Video
2007-11-02 11:00:59
Apparently Amy Winehouse can only remember the lyrics when she gets around to the chorus as you can see from the video below of her performance at the MTV Europe Awards in Munich yesterday. The obvious answer here is that she’s drunk off her ass, but not so quick says fellow junkie Pete Doherty:
“I went for a drink with her earlier today and she’s totally fine. Perfectly healthy and happy.
“People are saying she’s out of control, but she’s not. She’s a sensible girl and she knows what she’s doing. She ain’t doing nothing wrong.”
It’s so nice to see the pot and the kettle support each other with a pat on the back.

Weekend Movie Preview: Trailers & Details November 2 - 4, 2007
2007-11-02 10:00:17
Welcome to your weekend. You’ve got three new movies to help get you there. First up is American Gangster which stands as an indicator that we have reached Oscar time again. Gangster brings together Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, and Ridley Scott in a great looking crime drama based on a true story. If you’re looking for something lighter there is always Jerry Seinfeld’s animated movie, Bee Movie, which should be good for families. Somewhere in between those two is Martian Child which looks to be a bit heavy but hopefully has a happy ending with John Cusack as a widower who adopts a child posing as a Martian. If none of these sound good to you then hopefully the weather is nice where you are.
Here are all your movie details & trailers for this weekend, November 2 - 4, 2007.
American Gangster
Starring: Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe
Director: Ridley Scott
Genre: Crime / Drama / Thriller
Rated: Rated R for violence, pervasive drug content and lan ...

Kevin Federline Made $7,436 In 2006; Cost To Humanity Is Priceless
2007-11-02 09:04:30
Turns out that marrying Britney Spears and then divorcing her in a get-rich-quick scheme isn’t such a get-rich-scheme after all. Court documents from the ongoing divorce settlement revealed that wannabe rapper Kevin Federline came out with just $7,436 in gross income for 2006. But wait, you’re probably asking “What about that painfully awful song ‘Popozao’? That should have made him millions, right?” Wrong. It netted him just over three thousand dollars last year. Britney, on the other hand, is bringing in nearly 3/4 of a million dollars every month. That’s not too bad for a tubby little Chunk impersonator. Since Federline is taking care of the kids full time now he’s getting $15K in monthly support, which could go up considering that number likely reflects a pre-court ordered “get those kids away from Britney” decision.
Wanna know how these two live it up and spend their fleeting fortune?
Britney’s Monthly ...

Daniel Craig Gets Bonded To 4 More Films
2007-11-02 08:00:07
Get ready for more Bond, Daniel Craig Bond. WENN is reporting the latest actor to holster the legendary Walther PPK has just signed an absurdly lucrative deal to continue staring in the Bond franchise for at least the next decade:
Actor Daniel Craig has signed a $60 million deal to star in the next four James Bond films. The blond 39-year-old is currently filming Bond 22 - his second outing as secret agent 007 following the success of 2006’s Casino Royale - and movie executives have reportedly signed him up for another three films, tying him to the franchise for the next 10 years. A source says, “To date Daniel has been quite cautious over saying how many films he’d be starring in. It was presumed he’d probably do a couple more but the word is the new deal ensures he’ll do at least another four across the next decade.”
I’ll admit that I never saw Casino Royale (Walt loved it though) as I was (still am) bitter over the studio dropping Bros ...

Coming Soon: Vantage Point - Trailer & Details
2007-11-01 12:00:36
Vantage Point seems to have been in the works for sometimes and it’s not often that you see trailers and advertising for a movie more than a few weeks/months in advance. However, I am worried about Vantage Point’s scheduled release for mid-February which is a notorious time for studios dumping junk movies. I’m going to hold out hope on this one though as it has a great cast. I’ll watch anything with Dennis Quaid (if you haven’t seen Switchback you need to), William Hurt was great in Lost in Space (say what you will) and the recent Mr. Brooks, Fox is living the high life with LOST, and Sigourney Weaver will forever be Lt. Ripley. Until this most recent trailer came out I wasn’t aware of the second conspiracy angle with William Hurt using a doppleganger who gets shot instead. Strange stuff here, but the story sounds cool and the acting will be great.

Release Date: February 15th, 2008
Genre: Drama and Thriller
