You’ve got a random, mixed bag of actresses leading what could be funny but looks more likely to end up as awkward. The trailer informs you Mad Money is from the creator of Thelma & Louise, which gives me hope for a shocker ending where they all drive off a cliff, but I doubt that’s going to happen. As I tried to track down who exactly was involved in both this movie and Thelma & Louise I noticed one of the writers, John Mister, had just two writing credits to his name, this movie and a TV movie from the UK called, wait for it, “Hot Money.” Now if you guessed Hot Money was about a team of cleaners who planned to steal money that was destined to be destroyed, then you were right. The Office Writers Picket; Series To Hit Reruns Very Soon 2007-11-08 09:00:28 While I agree with what the WGA union is asking for here I think it’s going to really starting hurting those of us at home soon. The Office punch is going to come even closer than you might have been suspecting. Greg Daniels has told E! News that the series has just one extra show in the can and ready to go after this week’s episode. Hmm, maybe they should have cut those hour long episodes into halves! Ah well. The Office was even more susceptible to this strike as many of the actors and actresses are actually also on the writing staff and that includes the regional manager Michael (Steve Carell). In addition to being fan favorites on this season of Dancing With The Stars, these two siblings are professional ballroom dancing champions. This is Julianne’s second season. She returns after winning last season with speed skater Apollo Ohno. This is Derek’s first season paired with a star (Jennie Garth) after appearing on the show as a performer only. Dancing With The Stars 5 Week 7 Results 2007-11-06 21:10:57 Last night was pretty rough on our dancers. The dancers each performed two routines and everyone had at least one lack luster performance. Mal & Maks did pull the perfect thirty again last night on their second performance. So it was no surprise tonight when they received the Judges Encore Performance. At the end of last night’s show a mere 4 points separated the first couple from the last. As a result tonight’s big loser was all the result of the audience votes. Michael Mann & Robert De Niro Reunite For “Frankie Machine” 2007-11-06 12:00:18 While it may not have been scientifically proven I’m pretty sure Michael Mann can walk on water. In 1995 Mann delivered what I consider to be the best cops and robbers movie ever with Heat starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, so when I heard of an upcoming reunion between Mann and De Niro I could barely contain my excitement. Dancing With The Stars 5 Week 7 Results Preview 2007-11-06 09:00:59 Last night on DWTS each couple performed two dances which was clearly a big stresser for several of the stars. Fortunately for them everyone came out rather unscathed as no one passed out, got food poisoning, or stood too close to Bruno when he was waving his arms. With two rounds of dancing the couples had a chance to make up for weak performances and balance out their score. Everyone came out very close with a range of just four points between the highest rank dance pair (Mel & Maksim) and the lowest ranked pair (Jane & Tony).
