Who Should Be The Next Bachelorette? 2007-11-21 08:00:23 In seasons past one of the things the producers of ABC’s The Bachelor have done is to use the runner up from the show as the next Bachelor or Bachelorette. This season’s Bachelor, Brad Womack, in a shocking end to the season, chose none of the girls. With so many broken hearts this season, it seems to me that one of these ladies should get a second chance at finding love. As I thought about it, really, any one of the final five could make a good Bachelorette. Here are my thoughts on each of these girls: DeAnna is the obvious first choice. She was the girl Brad was going to ask to marry him. I really think that she was the most broken hearted. She was great catch. Brad should never have let her get away. She was really pretty bitter after her experience with Brad though so I’m not sure if she would be willing to put herself through that again. The Bachelor 11: After The Final Rose 2007-11-20 22:19:25 After last night’s shocking conclusion to the season in which the Bachelor Brad Womack picked neither of the girls, the girls get their chance to grill Brad on his decision or lack there of. The girls aren’t the only ones looking for answers. The fans of the show were shocked at best and outraged at worst. When Chris spoke with Jenni one on one before Brad came out was not anything surprising. She felt hurt, a little misled, and confused. Although, I hadn’t realized that Jenni didn’t know Brad had sent DeAnna home too until just before this special was taped. Jenni wanted to know why Brad didn’t at least give with the one of the girls even if he wasn’t ready to make a proposal. Basically he should have given them a chance. I have to agree with her. Terminator 4: ‘McG’ood Grief; Is No One Else Available? 2007-11-20 12:00:54 We’ve known for a long time that Terminator 4 was on its way even without the man that made it famous (Arnold, but Cameron won’t be around again either), but now more details are coming out that don’t make me too thrilled. SlashFilm is reporting that McG (Charlie’s Angels & CA: Full Throttle) is now in line to direct this fourth installment in the franchise. While I’ll agree with SlashFilm’s sentiments that Charlie’s Angels was the “best fun just purely to be fun action movies in recent years” I can’t possibly agree that he’s then a good fit for Terminator 4. The Terminator movies aren’t “fun to be fun” kinda action movies. Britney Finally Did It 2007-11-20 10:34:02 People magazine is reporting that Britney’s lawyer has come out and made the announcement we’ve all been waiting for: Britney Spears is taking “security measures” to protect her children, her attorney says. “Recent aggressive actions by individuals who have followed (Spears) and blocked her access, with and without the children, have resulted in her decision to take certain security measures which she hopes will only be necessary temporarily, for the protection of the children,” Sorrell Trope said in a statement Monday. I can only assume this means she’s locked herself her in a cell somewhere and once the full moon passes she’ll be able to come back out. Dancing With The Stars 5 Week 8 Results Preview 2007-11-20 10:00:23 Tonight we will find out who the three couples who will compete in next weeks finals. The performances last night were awesome. I would say that Marie & Jonathon were the only couple who really had a little trouble. Helio & Julianne and Mel & Maks could not have done any better. Two perfect routines a piece. Doesn’t get any better than that. Jennie & Derek obviousily also did well. Since his start in stand-up comedy in 1991 he has gone on to star in the TV series Welcome To New York, Ed, That 70’s Show, and most recently My Boys on TBS. Gaffigan has also shown up in movies with appearances in Three Kings and Super Troopers (I’m sorry, are you saying meow?). Jim even has a Comedy Central special and ongoing tour, Beyond the Pale. So with all those arenas conquered Jim has moved on to the last frontier, animation, with Pale Force. The Bachelor 11 Week 8 Preview: The Final Rose 2007-11-19 10:05:40 After some technical difficulties last week, I’m back and looking forward to watching Brad propose to the lady of his dreams tonight. Tonight is the big season finale. Both DeAnna and Jenni will be going home tonight. The difference? One will be going home broken hearted, the other will be walking away with a big ring and a rugged, good-lookin’ Texan. Jenni and brad have had a physical connection all season. DeAnna seems to be the girl who has the deep emotional connection with Brad. Who will he pick? Based on our sidebar poll though the fans have picked DeAnna as the hands down favorite, 2 to 1.
