Coming Soon: Semi-Pro Trailer & Details
2007-12-13 12:00:09
I’m a sucker for Will Ferrell movies and this time is no different. “Semi-Pro” puts Ferrell behind the wheel of another sports comedy, or “sportscomedy” as I like to call them, as a 70’s semi-professional basketball player and team owner. When his league gets merged with the pros he’s gotta get his team together to make the cut. Somehow I think we can expect everything to work out just fine in the end, but the road to get there will presents lots of problems. Woody Harrelson reappears and looks to play the real brains behind the team and coaching. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how Arnett fits in as I missed him in the trailer. So what do you think? Can you deal with another “Blades of Glory” type sports comedy from Ferrell or are you waiting for his next return to a small college town? Supernatural Episode 308 “A Very Supernatural Christmas” Preview
2007-12-13 10:00:24
Tonight’s episode of Supernatural on The CW brings the festive pagan horror of an “Anti-Santa” with “A Very Supernatural Christmas.” The story pits supernatural investigative brothers Sam and Dean Winchester against an evil intruder who keeps dropping down the chimney, grabbing family members, and not leaving much more than a tooth behind when they leave! So if you could use a little bone crunching and body bags with your egg nog then step inside because Supernatural has you covered. If you’re new to the Supernatural series, like I was, then this Christmas special is a good place to start. The story picks up quickly, is easy to follow, and the back and forth banter between the brothers was pretty entertaining. I was always a huge fan of The X-Files and this has a very familiar feel to it. Instead of chasing aliens or missing sisters this pair is hunting down demons and buggers of the supernatural sort, of course. Should you already be wel ...
The Golden Compass Movie Posters
2007-12-13 09:00:12
I have never before seen a movie with so many posters. Each of the main characters has their own, almost all of whom are big name stars. It’s no wonder this movie cost New Line Cinemas $180 million to make ;). They are cool posters though. Check out Wild Bluff Media’s reviews of the book by Phillip Pullman and the Movie written and directed by Chris Weitz. Click on the images below to see the full size version. Lost Season 4 Teaser Trailer Online; Watch It Now!
2007-12-13 07:40:49
While the first twenty episodes of season 3 of Lost made me want to curl up in a ball and cry things really started to pick up in the end. We saw an outline of Jacob in the shack. Jack may or may not have signed everyone’s death warrant with the rescue call. And don’t forget Charlie going for a swim with the fishies to save his buddies, or at least so he thought. Well get ready because season 4 is ready to go in just about two more months. So far they’ve filmed eight episodes and will have to wait for the WGA strike to be resolved for further work there. Hopefully they won’t let that slow them down in releasing the finished episodes. So here it is, Lost season 4 teaser trailer: Wait, was that Charlie in there? Aww nuts… This content brought to you by Wild Bluff Media. ---Related Articles at Wild Bluff Media : Entertainment Examined:Entertainment Week In Review: December 10 - 14, 2007Heath Ledger As The Joker; Empire Front Page Pic LeakedThe ...

A New Career for Julianne Hough
2007-12-12 12:00:48
Julianne Hough, professional ballroom dancer and two time winner of ABC’s hit show Dancing With The Stars, is about to launch her new career as… wait for it… a country singer. Yep, thats right. DWTS’s own Julianne Hough will be dipping her toe into the muddy waters of Nashville. Hough was quoted as saying, “I just signed with Universal Records, so I’m going to be singing! I have my first album out in April, and my first single’s out in January. I’m excited!” Hough actually released her first country music single “Will You Dance With Me” on iTunes in May 2007. The song rose to #8 on the iTunes “Top Country Songs” chart. Hough is in the process of recording her first country music album, due for release in the spring of 2008. She has signed with Universal Music Group’s Mercury Nashville. Keep checking back for all of your DWTS news or better yet, subscribe to our feeds by email or subscribe to our RSS Feeds (both ...
Crowned On The CW Launches Tonight
2007-12-12 11:03:33
(c) The CW The new reality show “Crowned” from The CW launches its first season tonight. While you’re going to probably watch this more for the characters and cattyness over another reality show like Amazing Race I think this one could still be pretty entertaining. I watched a promo copy of the premiere the other week and gave it a positive nod in my review. I didn’t get to see who was the first mother-daughter pair “desashed” from the bottom two, but I’ve got a strong guess on who it’ll be and surprisingly I wouldn’t have guessed either of these sets of ladies to be in danger so early. So if you’re not full of reality TV in this WGA strike era then I’d suggest you give it a viewing and then let me know what you thought. Heroes Stays Alive Online With “Evolution” & More Viral Sites
2007-12-12 10:00:39
The TV season may be over for Heroes as we saw the second volume come to a close. That doesn’t mean NBC is about to let Heroes fans wait until Volume 3 “Villains” returns for more super power goodness. There are a series of online only stories running both on the NBC site and several other viral sites set up for us to find and enjoy. First up is NBC’s main site for Evolutions. Here you can find lots of interactive games and search around for info on characters and plot lines. One of the interesting storylines that you can read more on is Richard Drucker. I hadn’t spent much time with the series online before so I didn’t know too much about him, but it looks like he could be a pretty big, evil character. At least I’m pretty sure he’s going to be a bad guy. Hana Gitleman, a character from the first season and then mostly online, is tracking down Richard Drucker and so she’s got her own website giving us the details. Now ke ...

Jessica Simpson Ready To Go Full Frontal Naked To Win Respect
2007-12-12 08:00:21
Some actresses use it to get their foot in the door. Others won’t go near it their entire career. Now it’s looking like Jessica Simpson might decide to do the former in her pursuit of landing an actual, respected acting career. Simpson’s past acting attempts have been far less than stellar with her “Employee of the Month” flop, though I’d put more blame on Dane “Not At All Funny” Cook for that one. Then Jessica had a movie that you probably never heard about, unless you were wisely reading this site each day! “Blonde Ambition” starring Simpson and, surprisingly, Luke Wilson looked like a remake of Working Girl mixed with some sort of nuclear disaster. Thankfully, for us at least, the movie’s studio decided after several release date bumps that it’d never be seen on the big screen. Heck, who knows if it’ll even get a DVD release or just collect dust on the shelves next to Indy’s Ark. So aft ...
Jessica Alba Is Pregnant With A Cash Baby
2007-12-12 07:13:28
Well not literally a cash baby as in one made of cash, though that’d be pretty creepy and might make a better horror movie than her next project coming out. Instead, Jessica Alba’s rep has informed People magazine that Alba and Warren Cash are expecting a baby: “I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer,” says rep Brad Cafarelli. Now you might be asking yourself, “didn’t Jessica and Warren break up this summer?” Why yes they did and we told you all about it back then. At the time it was Alba who did the dumping, but later recanted and took him back. Hmm, any chance Cash was punching tiny holes in his condoms to help lock this one down? Kudos Cash. You’ve gone from movie assistant to Hollywood dad. When will you and Federline be starting your first “How To Get A Star Pregnant” tour? Sex And The City Movie To Be A Trilogy, Says Inside Source
2007-12-10 12:00:40
Last week the teaser trailer for the upcoming Sex and the City movie was released and it looks just like what you’d expect (check out the clips below). I can only hope these are the last 45 seconds I ever witness from this movie, but the folks behind it are hoping everyone else feels otherwise. An insider on the set of the movie which just wrapped up has told The Daily Mail the producers are already looking at a follow up sequel and possibly even another extension in the franchise: The producers are already working on a script for a second movie, they are so convinced the first will be a hit. They are exercising the sequel option in all of the stars’ contracts. They want it to be a franchise and think they can stretch it over at least three movies. Oh good gravy. Three of these out there loose in the wild? So the big tease on this movie is whether or not Carrie marries Mr. Big, and yes I know that much but only because I’ve always enjoyed Chris Noth from his ...

2007-12-10 10:00:21

At the center of the story is Lyra (played by newcomer Dakota Blue Richards), a 12-year-old girl who starts out trying to rescue a friend who’s been kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers - and winds up on a quest to save not only her world, but ours as well. My Review: The Golden Compass was one of the two movies I managed to catch over the weekend. I was really excited to see it. I have loved New Line Cinema’s other offerings, the trailers looked awesome, the cast ...
Fresh Prince To President, Will Smith Is Ready; Smell Ya Later!
2007-12-10 08:00:59
Everyone’s favorite Fresh Prince, Will Smith, has a big movie coming out this weekend with “I Am Legend“, but Smith doesn’t see any reason to let the silver screen be the limits to his fame and success. In an interview with The Mail Smith detailed out his original plans, how they’ve changed, and what he’d set his sights on first. “I always wanted to be the first black president but Barack Obama stole my idea. That’s OK with me. Barack can go first and then I’ll take my turn. Once I’m in, I’ll start changing a few things that urgently need changing. The basis of human sanity is physical survival, right? So I’d start with universal healthcare and shelter.” Well that’s just great for everyone, right? All it takes to be President of the United States is to really want it and then to know a good doctor. Weekend Humor: High-Five Hollywood
2007-12-08 10:00:11
Here’s another video from Will Ferrell’s “Funny or Die” website. It’s pretty silly, of course, but I was really impressed by how many celebs they got to star in it with them and I think I may have found the first thing ever that Blake Lewis has done that I haven’t found completely disturbing.
