Britney’s Former Rehab Facility Subpoenaed in Custody Fight

While Kevin Federline parties in Vegas, his defense team has struck again, delivering a subpoena to the rehabilitation facility attended by his ex Britney Spears. Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, confirms that Promises Treatment Center was served with a subpoena Saturday morning, saying, “An executive administrator from Promises rehab facility was served with a subpoena.”
This is the fourth subpoena doled out by the Federline team in the singer’s increasingly high-profile custody battle. Earlier in the week, Spears’s former assistant Shannon Funk, bodyguard Daimon Shippen and pal Alli Sims were all served with legal papers.
“Kevin and his attorneys Mark Vincent Kaplan and James Simon are on a mission,” says a source familiar with the proceedings. “They are pursuing all relevant evidence from every potential source and every available witness.”

Wonder Woman?

Star Magazine has reported that Katie Holmes is allegedly in talks with producers to try and get the leading role in the new movie version of TV’s Wonder Woman.
“The movie’s only at the discussion state, but Katie feels this role as a kick-ass superhero will put her back in the public eye,” the source says. “She wants to show her stuff, and she wants to prove that she can stand on her own two feet without Tom’s help.”
Maybe Katie can stand on her own two feet, but I bet Tommy Boy found her this role - since he basically tries to manage her entire life. And I am not sure that a role as Wonder Woman exactly personifies independence, but then again Wonder Woman could probably kick my ass….that’s something to think about.

Jessica Simpson has ended up severely disfigured, as her nose has been broken due to gun filming scenes, where she regretfully hit herself in the face with a gun.
Her new movie, ‘Major Movie Star’, might have taken a blow, as the star might have to wear a bandage for the rest of the filming! Or, alternatively they might have to use computer graphics to edit where her nose should be. The singer-turned-actress stars as an American Hollywood actress who decides to join the army in the film. Simpson explained: “I was running with a gun over my head and fell over and broke my nose, it really hurt!”
The star has previously cited her nose as her favorite feature, saying: “There are a lot of girls with a similar body to mine, but my nose is special and unique to me.”
