Orlando Is Nominated

Actor Orlando Bloom has been nominated for Best Male Performance in Britain’s first National Movie Awards. He is nominated for his work in the third “Pirates of the Caribbean” flick. Some other nominees include Daniel Craig, Bruce Willis, Johnny Depp and Daniel Radcliffe.
I wonder if Orlando will win? He is after all a Brit, so there might be some bias. Although my gut tells me that Johnny has it in the bag.

Jenna Jameson: Why I Removed My Breast Implants

Adult film star Jenna Jameson has decided to retire from adult filmmaking, and that’s not all she’s left behind. On August 1, Jameson visited Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Garth Fisher to have her breast implants removed. Though she continues to run her $30 million-a-year ClubJenna empire, the 33-year-old is focusing on a Hollywood biopic, a comic book and a clothing line, due out next year.
Nearly two weeks after the three-hour surgery that took the 5-foot-6 star from a D-cup to a C-up, she sat down with Us Weekly to discuss her new body, her boyfriend (ultimate fighter Tito Ortiz, 33) and the future.
On why she had her implants removed:
“When I had implants, I felt uncomfortable. I would be shy at the beach. I know it sounds funny, but I’d wear high-necked clothes – unless I was at an adult-film convention. So I thought, Why don’t I be who I am and get my real ones back?”

Actress Bridget Moynahan gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday.
Bridget’s publicist tells us that “mom and baby are doing great.”
Earlier on Wednesday, her baby’s father, New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady, was spotted arriving at a Los Angeles area hospital with a huge bouquet of flowers and did not report for practice.

A source at the swanky King Edward Hotel in Toronto said: “This creepy girl was clearly determined to come face-to-face with David. “She kept saying his name over and over and acted like she knew him – even though she clearly didn’t. “It was like something out of a stalker flick. Pregnant and in Jail

With the likes of Nicole Richie, being pregnant and in jail seems like the cool thing to do. A Manhattan judge has ordered Foxy to Rikers Island jail for violating her parole. The rapper is three months pregnant and will remain in jail until her September 7th hearing. TMZ reports:
Brown had been on probation on assault charges, but two incidents in recent weeks violated her probation, thus leading Judge Jackson to send Foxy to jail.
A source tells TMZ that Foxy’s face was “priceless” when the judge handed down her decision, and that Brown and her lawyer had not expected to see jail time. Brown was booked at Manhattan Criminal Court and handed over to authorities.
In court, Brown revealed that she is three months pregnant, and that she plans to get married.

Another Bad Decision

Reportedly Jive, Britney Spears record label was shocked when she backed out of recording a duet with her old man Justin Timberlake and producer Timbaland. The studio thought that with Justin and Timbaland on board, this could be an opportunity for Brit’s big comeback. Apparently Ms. Spears didn’t see it that way.
JT supposedly wrote the song for her and all she had to do was fly to Timbaland’s Virginia Beach studio and record her part. Guess that was too much. A source has said:
“She’s looking for a comeback, and this would have not only been a huge hit, but something she could have opened the MTV Video Awards with and really blown everyone away.”

No Surprise

Even for me this is a bit ridiculous. One of the cat that Petey owns, named Dinger (slang for syringe), gave birth to a litter of kittens. One of the kittens fell ill and Petey took it to the vet where cocaine was found in the cat’s system! An RSPCA rep told the Daily Star:
“It is a police matter, so we cannot deny or confirm the identity of the man who had this kitten removed. But it is very important to protect animals from substances that can do them serious harm.”
I think every living being that Pete Doherty touches or even gets near gets high off of something. That’s pretty sad when your cat basically has to go to a pet hospital for a mild OD on cocaine.

A lot of times reality stars can come across as washed-up attention whores who will do anything to be given a “career” in showbiz. In fact, some of them are downright idiots too. However, they may not all be as dumb as I once believed. E! Online provided rough estimates of top reality “stars” incomes including the infamous Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag from MTV’s The Hills.
Well, Lauren “L.C.” Conrad does get to operate ongoing hot war with Heidi Montag in the pages of Us Weekly every week, free of charge. If that’s not a fine compensation, I don’t know what is. Oh, wait. Yes, I do. How about an estimated $10,000 to $25,000 per episode? That’s the general industry range for top reality stars such as Conrad, Montag, wannabe K-Fed or Spencer Pratt.
Wow. I thought that most of these girls just got “paid” by banging the producer(s) after filming was wrapped. This is a shock to me….that kind of pay is not too s ...

Lindsay Might Get It Easy

Apparently at least one thing is looking hopeful for Lindsay Lohan. TMZ has recently reported that the Los Angeles D.A. will most likely not be pursuing felony charges against Lohan for her DUI arrest.
Sources say the D.A. almost certainly will not file cocaine charges in connection with her DUI bust Memorial Day weekend in Beverly Hills.
As for her July 24 arrest in Santa Monica, the D.A. could charge her with felony cocaine possession, and bringing cocaine into a correctional facility — also a felony. But we’re told that the D.A. is inclined not to file those felony charges either.
