Ghost Car Vanishes - Police Baffeled
2008-01-06 14:31:22
This is one of the most interesting and creepy videos I have seen in awhile. This ghostly video show a high speed car chase of the Garden City P.D. and what they refer to as the Ghost Car.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6351050467456512745
The Ghost Car swerves and weaves in and out of traffic. The driver is “like a man possessed” and all hell breaks loose.

Death and Darkness: The True Story of Halloween?
2007-10-28 08:23:30
Why do civilizations separated by eons in time have similar legends and holy days on the calendar? Halloween and the Day of the Dead are holidays connected in many unusual ways.
In the eighth century, the Catholic Church attempted to replace the ancient Celtic tradition of Samhain with All Saints Day. This holiday was known as “All-hallowsmas” to the people. The day before All-hallowsmas became known as All Hallows Eve, and eventually Halloween. Halloween resembles Samhain in many ways, which for the Celtics was the beginning of the dark time, the opposite of the light time, which begins in spring.
When the Catholic Europeans encountered the Aztecs they once again attempted to morph the pagan celebrations into a Christian holiday. The celebrations honoring the Lady of the Dead became the Day of the Dead holiday.
Although the Celtics and the Aztecs where separated by 4000 miles, an Ocean, and 20,000 years, they both acknowledged a time of death and darkness at the same point ...

Halloween Party Punch
2007-09-18 15:52:57
Halloween parties can be a blast and a great time to let loose and have some fun. From my own parties in the past I have one suggestion of something you may want to be careful with or avoid entirely.
Alcoholic Punch: This is extremely tasty, and looks awesome displayed on the table, expecially sitting in a container filled with dry ice for that creepy fog rising effect.
The problem with the punch is that it’s sneaky. Sneaky booze is booze that everyone loves to drink and you can barely taste the alcohol in but it’s extremely powerful. Before you know it, your house is full of overly intoxicated adults spilling and yacking in your yard or worse all over your bathroom toilet.
That’s not even the worst part. The worst part is the next morning, because you will have sucumb to the beast of the punch bowl yourself and have no clue of the mess in which you are about to receive.
You stagger down the stairs knowing a mess is what you are about to see, but are t ...

Show your wild, funny, or truly absurd side and take home that Best Costume prize you’ve had your eye on! After all, Halloween is all about becoming an entirely different person for one night. The more creative you can be the better.
Arrive at the party dressed as your favorite sports star, as your favorite animal, or as your jerk of a boss. Any of these subjects could result in good ideas for Halloween costumes - even GREAT ideas! Hate your job? Love animals?
Do you enjoy sports? You just have to be observant. Good ideas for Halloween costumes are everywhere. Ask around; maybe your cousin dressed up as something or someone really spectacular three years ago and would be happy to loan you her costume.
Craft magazines and catalogs are also a great resource, as are your friends and family. Some flowing fabric and strands of bells could be used to craft an exotic gypsy costume. A cheap art set could be transformed into a Parisian artist’s costume. By browsing the aisles you’ll d ...

Scary Halloween Game Kids will Love
2007-09-03 11:43:04
I remember playing this Halloween game when I was 10, it was gross and tons of fun. This is the perfect game for a childrens Halloween party, and I’d bet some adults would like it too. This Halloween game is an oldy but a goody. Using regular every day items to gross out your kids and your kids friends is what Halloween is all about.
Gather everyone in a circle on the floor. Lighting should be very dark (only candlelight at the most), you don’t want the kiddies seeing the actual contents. Weave your tale of terror of a young boy or girl who went out trick or treating alone. Jamie was her/his name. Jamie had ventured out from his neighborhood, cutting through the woods to get more neighborhoods. Jamie’s parents had no idea their child had gone so far. As the night loomed on Jamie’s parents became frightened and headed out to look for him. When morning came all they found were these remains.
Here is his brain, which now feels ...

Halloween Costume Make up - Undead Ghouls & Zombies
2007-08-22 20:50:21
There isn’t a Halloween costume mask in creation that can look as realistic as a good makeup job. However, getting that special Halloween undead look can be a trick for anyone that hasn’t used costume makeup or prosthetics before. I know in my youth I had spent numerous hours sticking icky sticky stuff all over my face. Desparately trying to get the desired ghoulish look for my costume and always ending up looking more like a circus clown gone bad than the horrific ghoul I had invisioned.
The problem isn’t that you don’t have the correct costume make-up or materials, it’s just that no one ever explained how to apply the make-up. Directions on the back of bottles and the prosthetic makeup packages leave just about everything to the imagination. It doesn’t matter if you’re making a tiger, pirate skeleton or an undead zombie face, sometimes a little direction goes a long, long way.
This first video is without prosthetics and j ...

In the video below you will be shown exactly what you need to make fantastic looking tombstones and how to do it cheaply. If you are planning on decorating your yard or haunted event for Halloween, then this is a must see Halloween video.

Costume Parties: Halloween’s Not Just for Kids
2007-08-14 00:20:51
Just because you are not a little kid doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy Halloween. You do not have to go trick or treating or even go to haunted houses if you are not up to it. You can always throw a costume party to celebrate the occasion.
A costume party is a great way to allow yourself to be creative and enjoy Halloween’s most appealing aspect, which is to be someone else for the day and set your inhibitions free for a couple of hours. Well, my first costume party was quite fun. The theme was “Imaginary and Mystical Creatures.”
The party had a contest for the most creative costume. I decided to dress up myself as “The Queen of the Damned” a vampire queen. I had on fake fangs and blood on the corner of my mouth which ran down my cheek. My face was as pale as I could make it along with dark and shadowy facial makeup. I had on a jet black wig with the hair in a tight bun on the top. I was also wearing a deep dark crimson color dress it was fitted at the top and it formed ...

A Night at Kennywood Amusement Park
2007-08-04 22:35:50
One of my more recent experiences with Halloween activities was my trip to Kennywood Amusement Park. Kennywood is located in Pittsburgh, PA. As we got closer to the entrance I got more excited, we began walking through a tunnel filled with fog and noises coming from every direction including the ones that were created by my friends. It was quite entertaining.
Then we had a variety to choose from including roller coaster rides, haunted house, haunted cemetery, and many more. I did not know where to start but I decided to go to the haunted house that was located in the back of the amusement park by the wooded area. The haunted house was not scary at all but I have grown pretty hard to scare. It was enjoyable watching my friends scream and jump at any sudden movement, and screaming at random moments just for the heck of it.
After we were finished with the haunted house we headed to the next one. The line was extremely long but we were patience and were entertained by the clown named BoBo ...

Eastern State Penitentiary: U.S. Most Famous Haunted Facility
2007-08-01 18:57:55
Known as being the most expensive building built in the U.S. at the time, the Eastern State Penitentiary became a prototype in design to 300 prisons. The facility was operated under the Pennsylvania System from 1829 to 1913. This system, used by the Quakers, was designed to force the incorrigibles sent there to look inside themselves and find God. In reality, this system placed inmates in complete solitude drove many sane men mad. Prisoners of the Eastern State Penitentiary had to undergo extremely brutal and austere punishments.
Inmates who broke the simplest rule received the harshest castigation. Hence, the Water Bath, this is when inmates are dunked into a tub of ice cold water, and then are hung from a wall for the night. In the winter months, this was the common chastisement used. It was reported that the water on the inmate’s skin would form a layer of ice by the morning time. Next, was the Mad Chair. It was named such because it was not uncommon for an inmate to go mad befo ...
