He lied to the FBI about hiring disgraced private detective Anthony Pellicano to illegally wiretap film producer Charles Roven. The Comedy Festival (TCF) and Ziddio.com, the user- generated Web site created by Comcast, announced The Andy Kaufman Award will be presented at The Comedy Festival on November 16 at 10 p.m. in the Emperors Showroom inside Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.The Andy Kaufman Award recognizes comedians who have an original approach and was created to carry on the essence of Kaufman’s unique and zany style as a performer.
